I like the idea that K3V1N was just discarded in the ship somewhere. Put him wherever someone missed.

In this case maybe @Emberskyes will do me the honour to discover the deactivated robot in the airlock and activate it

Hi. My sister, Candice, is sick and will be off line for a while. She wanted me to let you know and to apologize on her behalf.

I wish her all the best and I hope she will get well soon.
I'll take good care of her character while she's recovering

Hope she gets better fast.

Hey guys. This probably wont come as a surprise to anyone given how i've been posting, but I don't really have time to participate in this. Sorry for the drop and I hope you guys have a good time.

Sorry to see you leave but I think all who play by post understand how real life and lack of time can pull us away.

That's a pity. K3VN was a fun character.
But I can fully understand that lack of time can lead to this. Thank you for notifying us
All the best to you

Sorry to hear this.

So do we have K3vn with us as an npc until we leave the outpost or does he simply disappear into thin air?
Jan 11, 2021 11:38 pm
Both Raven and K3VN will remain in the party as NPCs.
At least until you all arrive at the outpost with the satellite relay

Ok just wanted you to know that this next week will be hard for me to post. I work for a pharmacy and we just found out we will be doing covid vaccinations. To prepare, we have to do a lot of work this next week. So as of right now I am working 6 days this week and possibly all 7 next week. I will try to keep up and post but until things settle down and we are unsure when that will be, I cannot be sure. I will do my best to keep up.

Okay. Thanks for telling us. If an action from Derek is needed I'll bot him. Take care

You are doing good things and maybe before Christmas the world will be straightened out.

I was hoping that we would be several steps along that route by the time baseball season started. You all do realize that this is never going to go away. If you remember the last great pandemic was the Spanish Flu in 1918. And the flu is still with us. I've had a flu shot every year for the last 30 years. By next Christmas people will be starting to think about getting their second annual shot for Covid. I still haven't had my first one although I'm in the tier right behind medical professionals. Over 70 and more than one underlying condition. At least here in the LA area there are a lot of sites being set up even though the distribution of doses is a very weak stream at the moment. The pharmacy at the grocery store where I do most of my shopping is now giving shots but they only get about 20-30 doses at a time and you have to be on top of things in order to get an appointment.

I have heard a good way to get it if you’re not in line yet is to hang out end of the day where you know they’re handing it out. Because it’s very time limited stuff they’ll often hand out the unused doses rather than letting it spoil.

Jep Covid is here to stay. But I'm optimistic that we get it under control over the course of this year.
Although I don't live in the US, I've heard the same about left over vaccine doses. Five doses are calculated per vial but sometimes they are slightly overfilled so that you can actually administer six or seven doses. Maybe there's a service line where you can register for a spontanious vaccine, we have something here

There was a story the other day about a group of nurses who were coming back from a clinic that got stuck in a snowstorm in Grant's Pass Oregon, rather than let the dose spoil they when car to car inoculating anyone who wanted a shot. There was also a university in california that had a freezer fail, so they sent out a notification in the middle of the night and inoculated hundreds of people before 5am.

Sadly yes, this is going to become a part of life now. I'd be unsurprised if masks are going to become much more of a thing too here in the West.
