Struggling to the top of the passage, Belanor emerges just in time to see four Goblins charging in his direction. Reacting quickly he unleashes a bolt of fire, but slips as he is doing so causing the bolt to sail high and smash harmlessly into the far wall.
Intent on avenging their fallen comrade two of the Goblins (A & D) continue their rush forward with raised swords, while letting out a guttural battle cry. The first takes a wild slash at Gerbo who nimbly avoids the attack, but the second takes a more skilled swipe at the gnome, slicing into his arm (6HP).
Having just ducked out of way of what would have been a horrible ending to it's life, the Goblin facing Kerisha is still a bit stunned and makes a feeble attempt at a counter attack, swinging its sword weakly and missing its intended target by a large margin.
OOC:
Kerisha is engaged with Goblin C
Gerbo is engeaged with Goblin A and Goblin D

Orel and Grim are up (in any order)

Kerisha and the goblin are locked in a heated battle. Sweat and tears dripping from both of them as they slash and swing at each other. Just a shame no blood ahs been spilled...yet.
Feb 9, 2021 1:05 am
Gerbo ducks one goblin, before feeling the second slash deep into his forearm. As blood sprung from the fresh wound, his clothing darkened red, and his eyes grew wide. I'm not going down like this. Let the others take the lead. He grits his teeth and prepares to move.
Feb 9, 2021 4:02 pm
Orel runs up towards Gerbo, taking care to not slip on the steep ground upwards. He figures Kerisha can handle herself and runs towards Gerbo, taking a retaliatory slash towards Goblin D.

Rolls

Longsword - (1d20+5)

(5) + 5 = 10

Longsword damage - (1d8+5)

(7) + 5 = 12

Guiding Orel's blade to the side with its cheap, wooden shield, the Goblin grins and readies himself to return the favor.
OOC:
Kerisha is engaged with Goblin C

Grim is up. If there isn't a post by this time tomorrow we'll move on.

Kerisha snarls and bears her tusks at the goblins facing her. These should not be a challenge. I should be too strong for them she thinks as she arcs her sword once more. Trying to focus on actually connecting rather than just fanning her enemy. Her focus pays off as her sword strikes true.
OOC:
Aiming for goblin C since that was the first she was engaged with

I'll assist Orel then.
Firebolt to gobo d respectively.

Belanor stands and inch his way up. Enough to provide sufficient light for Orel and company.
OOC:
Is it possible to look like the fire bolt is coming from the torch!? That would look so epic. sad part is no ones facing me to see it
Belanor will fire another firebolt toward the goblin.

Rolls

Fire bolt - (1d20+5)

(16) + 5 = 21

Fire bolt damage - (1d10)

(4) = 4

Feb 10, 2021 10:10 pm
Gerbo, holding the wound on his arm takes the opportunity from Orel's appearance to scamper back to the entrance of the tunnel out of reach of the two goblins harrying him.
OOC:
Taking the Disengage action and retreating from the goblins to a point where I can still see what's going on/ attack next turn.
Feb 10, 2021 11:07 pm
OOC:
@CaveJohnson - I have no issue with the fire bolt coming from the torch while your holding onto it. (Honestly I have no issues with a lot of things like that, as long as there isn’t an inherent advantage you’re trying to gain - if it’s just for looks go for it!)

More rolls...

Rolls

Goblin D Attack / Damage - (1d20+4, 1d6+2)

1d20+4 : (11) + 4 = 15

1d6+2 : (3) + 2 = 5

Feb 10, 2021 11:28 pm
While the rogue deftly slips away from his attackers, Belanor steps up and unleashes a bolt of fire which strikes one of Orel's attackers directly in the chest. The smell of scorched, dirty leather quickly starts to fill the area around the Goblin, which is honestly quite pleasant compared to the original smell the Goblin gave off.
With Gerbo's departure Orel suddenly finds himself at the wrong end of a 2 on 1 battle. With a scream a confidence both Goblins let loose with a flurry of swings, none of which are able to strike the well armored Fighter.
OOC:
Kerisha is engaged with Goblin E
Orel is engaged with Goblin A and Goblin D

Orel and Grim are up. Grim will be skipped again if he hasn't responded by this time tomorrow.

Round 2
