Sure did! I assume you have something that allows you to not provoke attacks of opportunities while shooting in close combat?

Don't you need to touch someone to heal them?
Crap. Yes. For some reason, I thought he was still in range. I missed where he took a step away. How's Ashlyn look?
Jan 19, 2017 4:49 pm
Ashlyn looks slightly wounded.

Gonna lay hands on the paladin, then.

Hi, all! I've fallen ill and my doctor says I should take the weekend off from work but that sure as heck isn't happening as I have two wedding cakes to finish! So I can't guarantee any posts. If I survive the weekend I'll get back to posting Sunday evening (that's Sunday morning for most of you). Kalajel, please feel free to move my characters forward in the meantime. Thanks!

20 feet? holy crap did not know that. please do not jump down there.

I've lost track: Is this still our second day in Barovia? I'm not sure if I've used my daily Aspect of the Falcon or not. Gonna have to read back through the threads...

It is your second day.

Kajael, you posted the wrong combat map in the previous post, the upstairs church not the downstairs. The post before that had the correct one.

Fort save first.
OOC:
Would I get an attack of opportunity for him moving into Melee range? I do have a Melee attack.
Short answer, no. Not without a feat that allows you to do so (I'm sure it exists, I just can't think of what it's called right now.)

For the long answer, you should click here.

That is weird, the link works fine for me. Could this be a mobile issue again?
Edit: nevermind, I found out what you meant. Just a stupid case of copy/pasting and forgetting to fix the link, that is all... XD

Question: From my current position on the stairs, will a 15' cone hit the two zombies harassing our friendly neighborhood paladin?
Feb 3, 2017 12:18 am
Considering that at the top of the stairs, you're more than likely 15 feet off the ground already, I highly doubt it... You might at best catch the female zombie...

3 of Ujjaya's arrows find their marks, inflicting light damage on the creature which seems to ignore part of the damage. The creature looks barely phases by Ujjaya's arrow which only seem to have made a small dent on the creature...

Darren is up next.
The first arrow was alchemical. The others were common. Judging by the creature's reaction, which wasn't having much effect? The fire, or the piercing?
Feb 4, 2017 4:22 pm
The piercing.

kalajel says:
Durgrim smashes his hammer on the Blaspheme, wounding it a lot.
OOC:
Good thing you reminded me that smite evil ignored DR, I would have forgotten about it. I wonder if your damage is not a bit too much though, the whole double damage bonus deal is only on the first strike...
The zombies are up.
The extra damage is on all attacks in Pathfinder. Might have been different for 3.5, don't quite remember.

If the target of smite evil is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the paladin possesses

Kalajel has it right.
Feb 7, 2017 8:20 pm
Oh, totally blanked on that. Thought the smite damage was contested. My bad.
