I don't know if you read the posts in the story thread so here's a quick summary:
You all were on a ship that was on the way to ruins, presumably hired for a job there. The ship was crushed by a sudden wave and you swam ashore.
Some kind of frog people took most of the survivors prisoner, so the group followed their tracks to their camp/hometown. A herald came out of the town, greeted the group and informed them that they trespassed in their lands.

In order to introduce your character let's say that you were washed ashore too but on a different place. You were looking for survivors, found the tracks, followed them and found the group that's now playing good guard/bad guard with the herald

Solra is being surprisingly protective of Melianne, considering their rocky start. XD You'll give her the wrong idea. :P

We currently have a bard, a fighter, a ranger and a warlock so we are rather on the ranged-combat side.
But I'm not forcing any kind of character on you. I can work with a rather squishy group too.

Finished submitting my character sorry if it took long...And I know someone mentioned here that we don't need to make a novel for the backstory...I tried to shorten it...the operating word is ''tried''. ^^

Great backstory! I'm glad that everyone here puts a lot of work in their character and you are no exception.
rpgventurer will join us too but will not be able to submit a character until wednesday. So I will wait until then to introduce you both at the start of the next chapter.

Ouchy. Tough rolls. If you want to you can re-roll the 7 or switch it out for a 12.

Your rolls could open up the possibility for great rp but I don't want anyone to feel useless or lagging behind the group.

Thanks. I'll probably take the 12. I have not decided on a race yet, but I am definitely going with a Tempest Cleric. I would like the PC to have a sailing back story. May I use the Marine background from Ghosts of Saltmarsh (below)? And is Valkur available as a deity?

You can move twice the normal amount of time (up to 16 hours) each day before being subject to the effect of a forced march (see "Travel Pace" in chapter 8 of the Player's Handbook). Additionally, you can automatically find a safe route to land a boat on shore, provided such a route exists.

Okay, marine background is alright. It also fits the setting as the river Galfer is an important trading route for the four cities, so your character could've come by boat into the region.
If you want to worship Valkur you can.

Submitted character, Krenmuth, who is mostly finished. Still need the back story, personality traits, etc. but I don't want to hold up the adventure while I finish it up.
