"Strange people" Nekurr looks at the others, waiting to see what they think about it...particularly Tronus' hammers

"To the healer, you heard the thugs press on, he's trying to get things done and under wraps before his father gets back. I'm much more comfortable with the Baron looking to strangle his son than what dealing with us and we ended up finding in his lands" Tronus admits without skipping a beat and heads in a direct route.

With Lord Renash's men now out of sight, you're able to reach Father Gettle's quarters without further incident. His chambers are near the Mining Guild's headquarters. Asking after him finds the correct chamber fairly easily; the people you speak with in the area give you odd looks when you mention Gettle's name, though. The man seems to be known around here, at least.

A knock on the door doesn't elicit an immediate response. A second knock does: "Come in!" Inside the chamber, a wan, greasy-haired man hunches over a table littered with flasks, dishes, and flagons. As he meets your gaze, you see the bags under his eyes. "What is it? Another brigand-related incident? Please tell the guild I'm working as quickly as a can."

"Actually I'd like to know about how Barnpuddle is doing and see if there's anything I can do to assist. We might needto seeandtalk to him though."

Hildar steps in behind Tronus, letting him do the talking he scans about the room looking for anything out of place or interesting.

"Barnpuddle! What is this? Who are you?" The cleric furrows his brow and stands up from his desk, arms akimbo. He's tall but thin.

"His son said he's had a run in, The Baron's son had some thuggish sods try and persuade us to let things go I figure so he can be done before his father is back, not too worried who dies in the process. I'm Tronus Granitebreaker, we work for someone more inline with the Baron at times. Since we dragged a half goat demon summoning daft manling out of the mausoleum and Barnpuddle was injured in the tunnels under the area just wanted to check if there's anything suspicious we need to deal with. That cover everything?
Oh this furry one's a priest and I'm a templar we may be able to assist with Barnpuddle if he's still not up to snuff."

Tronus stops at one point and stares at Nekurr before going back to talking.

I liked him when he was bigger and mindless... Tronus thinks with a sigh.

His face lights up. "Oh! You have experience dealing with beings from the Ynfernael? How fascinating!" A scowl passes across his features for a moment, but then he rolls his eyes. "The Guild warned me about you lot, but really, I don't see what harm it would do discussing my findings. What would you like to know?"

"Gentlemen any questions or should he lead with if this seems to him to be related to the Ynfernael? Or have him tell us the whole accounting of the situations."

"Oh, I'm so delighted that you've taken an interest in this case! It doesn't feel right keeping things bottled up like the Guild wants me to do, not something as potentially significant as this!" He takes a deep breath and claps his hands together. "Now, I have no idea whether the Ynfernael is involved or about any of the particulars of the Barnpuddles' accident. However, I do find it strange that the accident seems to have occurred directly below the Cailn Ash Heap according to what Dribbage Acquisitions told me. That was the site of one of the fiercest battles of the Third Darkness, as I'm sure you know. It would be helpful for me to visit the site of the accident, but I need the approval of Hensnest or someone from Dribbage Acquisitions to go down. It's not safe for anyone but a healer, I think, to judge by Mr. Barnpuddle's condition." He gestures toward his flasks, one of which seems to hold leeches, the other a vicious yellow substance. "And these, of course."

Hildar taps his chin thoughtfully "Well, that at least gives a place to start looking. Was there anything else that made you suspect an Ynfernael influence? Other than the area where the accident occurred that is?" as he talks he moves over to the flasks for a better look, making sure not to touch anything "What is this substance?" though he says the question out loud it seems almost like he was just thinking aloud.

Gettle's face lights up as Hildar takes an interest in the flask. "This substance? Intriguing, isn't it? I wish I knew what it was... I recovered from the clothing of the men who had the accident. It ate through several contianers before I found a flask that it couldn't dissolve. I've suspended the yellow liquid in an alchemical jelly that keeps it stable enough to work with, but even then, I have to replace the jelly every two or three days. All I can tell so far is that it seems to be some form of mucous, organic in nature, but unlike anything I've ever seen." He shrugs his shoulders and shakes the flask up. The mucous seems to slosh around, coating the sides, and oozing back down. "Is this Ynfernael? I have no idea. Could be draconic. As you'll recall, the Ash Heaps resulted from Dragonfire..."

"Hensnest, you say? I'm guessing she isn't particularly happy to give permission to investigate this ... accident" Nekurr remarks as he looks around the place. "How is Mr Barnpuddles doing? Did you manage to figure how anything what happened? Could it be related to this mucous?". The cleric thinks for a while, trying to figure how what father Gettle knows already "Do you think it could have mind altering properties?"

Hildar stares at the fluid "Fascinating, would you mind if I took a sample to study myself? I would of course share any of my findings with you"
