Whoops! You're right! Sorry, I've been concentrating on my AD&D 1E campaign and forgot all about the d8 hit dice. I can either reroll or keep that result, as Qralloq desires.
Jan 11, 2022 1:56 am
Your choice, but you live with the result, mwa ha ha.
Jan 11, 2022 3:24 am
I'll keep what I have, then.

Please welcome HeroAmongMen and Baltar.

Hero is leaning sorcerer, druid, or skald. Baltar is thinking about an archivist.
Qralloq says:
There is a players guide available for free

Player Characters are any published Paizo material, subject to GM discretion. The game is largely urban, and undead, trap, and construct heavy, so consider that builds unsuited for that may be frustrated.

20 point buy, standard wealth
2 Traits (see players guide for additional options)
Level 2.

Greetings everyone. Glad to be here. Thank you for the welcome.

Just throwing in the current party for you guys, shamelessly copied from a different trhead ->

We have:
Khadi (myself), a playful/mischievous/possibly annoying to some duskwalker Cleric of Khepri (Sun God of Labourers, with a mischievous streak), who while growing up around worshippers of Pharasma (Goddess of Life and Death, very anti undead), prefers to care for the individuals of the city, especially the workers. Feels its her destiny to fight and protect people from undead. She is very channel and healing focused, to the point she actually is more charisma focused than normal for a cleric (Who's casting stat is wisdom). She does have knowledge planes and religion, and is squishier than a wizard - Absolutely useless in combat at the moment bar healing, but should touchwood start to shine when undead show up [edit: Undead have no shown up and she's manage to wipe out several skeletons first turn. The beheaded were a little more fun :P], and when she gets even more healing capabilities. Also quite diplomatic due to her archetype.

The others may give better intros of their characters but -
Tabat (C1nder) - Paladin of Horus. Fights in melee, is a tank, can do extra stuff vs undead. Also good at diplomacy and knowledge religion. From a a post by Cinder - A little about Tabat: He is an Aasimar but those non-human traits are subdued in most cases. He presents mostly as human with the only consistent indicator that something may be different being his bright, golden eyes that almost shine in the dark. He wears bright, silver and gold colored armor, a shield adorned with a scarab, and carries a khopesh into battle. He aims to be as radiant as the sun, to treat everyone with the measure of respect they deserve and protect those he can.

He is decent at hitting things, taking hits, Knowledge (religion), diplomacy, and DESTROYING EVIL! Eventually he will have a mount (probably a camel).

Iseret (WhtKnt) - Rogue, finds our traps, also a frontline fighter, and skill monkey. (Not sure what skills)
Jaware (Surfer) - Magus archer. Shoots magic arrows, and has access to arcane spells, but not as well as a wizard/arcanist.

Thank you for the detailed information Lightofmidnight. I was thinking a scholarly bard type such as Archivist, Studious Librarian or to a lesser extend Chronicler of Worlds. Which do you think would benefit the party more: the insight AC and saving throw bonus of the Archivist ( but only specific to a creature type at a time ) or plain vanilla inspire courage?

I think the archivist would fits better to the game. It makes more sense to have an archivist searching tombs than a bard. It would be a cool character

I agree, the archivist sounds cool!
May 16, 2022 3:09 pm
Yeah Archivist sounds great flavour wise, and AC never hurts :p (Also insentive to identify enemies which I am always a fan of :p)

I spy there's still the to hit which is also useful, so seems a far trade off for loss of damage.

The people have spoken :)

@HeroAmongMen are you close to being ready with your character?
May 19, 2022 7:54 pm
Yes, I am close. Just finishing up some details (I always forget how much more involvement character creation is in Pathfinder 1e).

I am purchasing equipment and should complete it in the next day or two.

Qralloq is clearly stalling us with the analisys of the headband and asking for tue new players to hurry up. I'm just a little afraid.

It occurred to me to stall, but let's just keep going.

@Baltar has submitted a character.
@HeroAmongMen is close.
@ianXian have a look up. LightOfMidnight has provided a great summary of the team so far. With the major bases covered, you can focus on whatever you want. I'll point out once more my caution: "The game is largely urban, and undead, trap, and construct heavy, so consider that builds unsuited for that may be frustrated."
