"Yea like, no. We were sent this way because we are searching for the Dwarf Gundren. So far the sources have lead us out in this direction. And a lady named mirna, Minerva, Min something said she had an offering for our services here. So we came by.
unfortunately now there's undead and dragons and such. I either need more training or the guild needs to step up their Intel.

"Something about her family heirloom that was to be here in the Thundertree area"

Reidoth smiles through his scruffy beard and returns the gesture to Kerisha.

"Always an honor to meet another member of the Enclave. Your sword and any other means you or your friends might have to offer would be appreciated. I fear if goings on in the east end of the village are not handled soon, things will only get worse. "

"I do realize that clearing these ruins is not the purpose of your visit." he adds, addressing Belanor.

"There is an old building on the other side that may have what you're looking for, but the trip will not be without danger. And I have never heard of this Gundren. Did Qelline think otherwise?"

"Not to my knowledge but I recall hearing that a castle is in this direction. That is where some group The Black Spiders is said to be and that's where we believe Gundren to be."
OOC:

I recall the note but I don't recall any mention of cragmaw castle or King grol,
You have mention of a.castle this way that is where Gundren should be but not mentioned.

OOC:
Just after rescuing Sildar...

"He slowly continues on, telling of how he and Gundren were ambushed and then separated. Gundren being taken to Cragmaw Castle as ordered by someone calling themselves the Black Spider. Sildar does not know the location of the castle, but has a feeling someone in Phandalin just might."

...I think is where all this is first mentioned.

"Dude I think the place Uncle Gundren is was called ’Cragmaw Castle’, or so I recall." Karma says to help Belanor out. "The heirloom you have the positive vibe on."

super I'm sure it was mentioned somewhere but I didn't see it in my quick scan of the pages.

"I can give you directions to Cragmaw Castle. It's about a day's travel into Neverwinter Wood, although I doubt your Black Spider will be there, but I do hope you find your friend. You can leave in the morning if that is your wish. I wouldn't advise traveling now that night is falling; not to mention the rain."

"Your accomodations are greatly appreciated. Perhaps we could pick up our prize on the way out in the morn. Avoiding as much of the zombi plants as possible." Belanor appreciates the opportunity to rest.
"I'm not one to sit on a free room. Perhaps there's something I could do or perhaps a small payment.?"
Oct 6, 2021 9:40 pm
"Thanks, but no. Friends of Qelline are always welcome."
Oct 7, 2021 1:44 pm
Gerbo, assuming fist bumps are how all druids say thank you, will bump his fist lightly against Reidoth's (whether offered or not) and go to sit in the biggest seat in the room.

"Sweet dude." is all Karma says and offers up a fist bump to Gerbo as he heads back to sit down.
Oct 8, 2021 12:15 am
The druid is no stranger to the ways of the fist bump, and is ready when Gerbo approaches.

"If there is nothing else let us rest here for night. In the morning I will tell you how to find the castle that you're searching for."

Reidoth then turns to Kerisha. "Perhaps you can return at a later time and we can deal with the dragon. It would be better to strike sooner, I think, but it appears you and your friends have your own worries at this time."
OOC:
Any other questions, conversations anyone want to have before turning in for the night?

Kerisha is overly enthusiastic to see the fist bumps come out again, so much so that Gerbo may have a sore hand after she fist "punches" it.
szemely says:
Reidoth then turns to Kerisha. "Perhaps you can return at a later time and we can deal with the dragon. It would be better to strike sooner, I think, but it appears you and your friends have your own worries at this time."
Kerisha's excitement turns to utter disappointment. She cannot stand to let a fellow member of the Enclave down. Not after everything they have done for her. "But surely there something we can do?" She looks around hopefully to the others. "How much time you have to deal with dragon?" "Cannot let friend of Qelline get hurt!" She paces around frustrated, not knowing what to do.

Seeing the disappointment in Kerisha’s face Karma looks towards Reidoth, "We need to collect something from the thunder tree itself and I would like to help a fellow nature lover, so maybe we can deal with some negativity it the area while retrieving said item?"

"The ruins here do not cover a very large area. I believe the building you're looking for is an old alchemy shop no more than a hundred or so feet from here. You can not get there without running into some sort of trouble as the robed men dwell in the area."

Reidoth pauses and takes a sip of his tea.

"The dragon is my biggest concern. If it establishes a den here it will be within striking distance of The High Road and can wreak havoc on unprepared travelers. It's still young, and its threat will only increase as it ages."

Gerbo adjusts his position on the chair, resting his legs up on the arm of the chair. "What harm is this dragon doing? No one lives here anymore, present company excluded. In any case, if we decided to help you get rid of the dragon, do you have any more information on it? I'm not keen on dying in a fool's errand going against something that every one of my instincts tells me to avoid, unless you have some information that would assist us. Luck favors the prepared, after all."

Gerbo pulls out his tinker tools and starts absent-mindedly fiddling with something to keep his hands occupied.

"It is not what threat the dragon is now, it is what type of threat it will grow to be. It is still young and it will be easier dealt with because of it."

Letting out a long sigh, Reidoth leans back in his chair.

"Perhaps the dragon is too much to deal with for now." the druid concedes. "You will have your hands full as it is."

"I don't know many sell swords but perhaps once we find Gundren and back to Waterdeep, I'll see if I could send something this way for assistance."
Belanor ponders after saying trying to think of anyone that would be willing to help.

Perhaps the Adventurers Guild might help, they're alwayings doing 1 off jobs...

Belanor begins ghost writing on the desk as he gets to inscribe a mental note to himself.

"Any bit of help would be appreciated."
OOC:
If there's nothing else to discuss with Reidoth, we'll cut to the moring.

Karma yawns and looks very tired, "Bedtime for this dude."
