Gerbo is already passed out, spooning the case for his Tinker Tools with a little drool dripping down from his open mouth.

Kerisha is restless. Thoughts racing through her mind. The group must find Gundren. But these cultist seem like trouble. Not to mention the dragon that is slowly growing to be more powerful. There are friends she has left behind already hurt. Friends around her now she must protect. When this dragon grows will it start to destroy more towns? Will Qelline and Carp be in danger?

Her list of things to do is growing beyond what she expected.

After a quiet eveing the light of the sun streaking through the shuttered windows eases you awake. Reidoth has already started his day and offers everyone some tea while he skethes out a map to the location of Cragmaw Castle.

"It's a good day's travel from here and will take you well into Neverwinter Wood. It won't be without its dangers, but I doubt it will be anything you can't handle. As for the item that you've come to collect there is a building two east of here that may contain what you're looking for."

The scruffy druid turns to Kerisha with his first over his heart and bows his head. "Safe travels, my friend."
OOC:
The Star is the building that Reidoth has pointed out. Once you're ready, tell me the approach you'd like to take.

Ahhhh. Oh yeah, we're in zombie plant forest.
Belanor awakens happily then remembers he's not in a townstead.
"Oh. Good morning. I hope everyone slept well.

My compliments for the tea."

Belanor looks over the sketch scratching his head.

He doesn't completely understand the directions.
"So 2 buildings over? Like complete buildings or they all ruin like?" He points in the incorrect direction thinking it's east.

"Maybe it would be best if one of the others led the way."

Where to?

The scruffy Dwarf wakes from his sprawled position beside the fire, he stretches and releases a loud fart. "Now I feel better." he says with a smile. He takes the tea offered, thanking Reidoth, and looks at the rough map. "Happy to lead the way dude, thou Kerisha maybe the best for the job. She has an sic connection with nature."
OOC:
I think we should follow the path around and keep it simple.

szemely says:
The scruffy druid turns to Kerisha with his first over his heart and bows his head. "Safe travels, my friend."
Kerisha returns the gesture to the druid, still frustrated she cannot be of more assistance at the moment. "We will meet again friend."

She looks at the map with Karma, "Follow path, take out some spiders at least." She feels that if they can at least tackle some enemies around here, then Reidoth has more chance of being here when they get to come back and help.

If I don't hear differently by Monday I'll assume you'll all be going the route that Kerisha and Karma have plotted out.

Gerbo starts chewing on a bundle of something from his bag as he looks at the map. He gives a half-assed mumble and a thumbs up before picking up his bag. He pulls another bundle out of his bag and shoves the whole thing in his mouth.

Apologies, everyone. Day got away from me - I’ll get something posted tomorrow.

As you open the door to take your leave of Reidoth's your greeted with a rush of fresh morning air; quite a contrast to druid's stuffy, but comfortable abode. The night's rain has turned the path through the ruins into a muddy mess, not enough to slow your pace, but just enough to easily be splashed onto clothing.

To your north, at the top of hill, stands a round tower with a cottage attached. Both are in good condition, although half of the tower's roof is gone.

To your south is a ruined building which may have been a store or workshop. Webs stretch across the path from the building to the trees on the North side of the road.
OOC:
You are all on the path, just before the webs.

Karma looks at the web, "A big web can only mean a big spider, dudes. I say we try and walking around, no need to disturb their home that would be a drag." He looks around for a way to circumnavigate the web.

"Or many," Belanor adds with a small shudder.
OOC:
are they few thick web or many thinner web?
Oct 20, 2021 1:13 pm
OOC:
It appears to be a single web with thick strands. Still wet from the rain.

OOC:
nope! Belanor is not about the idea of what made that web.

Gerbo hears what Karma says and agrees. There must be some way around.
He looks around and tries to find a way around, keeping an eye out for the spider.

Kerisha trudges through the mud, still with a heavy heart at leaving Reidoth. Seeing the webs she puts it out of her mind and is on high alert, standing guard as the others search for a way around.

While you're all certain that whatever created these webs can't be too far away, there is no immediate sign of danger.

The quickest apparent route around the webbing is up the hill through some heavy thickets and undergrowth.
