Your idea sounds interesting. Truthfully, I'm taking most of this from Dragon Age RPG/Fantasy Age. I've been unhappy with 1d20 for a long time. What I like about 3d6 is that the average roll happens more often. While that means great and horrible rolls happen less often, I'm perfectly fine with that. I don't know much about stats and "standard deviations" so.... we'll just see how this goes.

It means exactly that. If your stealing the numbers from another system then it should come out relatively ok.

For 2-3 weeks Xjremon will be visiting his wife's family out of the country after this week. I think he's been wrapped up in prepping for that. So ... I don't know how much he'll be online.

Sorry, I've been absent lately. And yes, I will not be getting online much, if at all, during the following two weeks.
I'm gonna post now, and then I will try to make another response if warranted by Friday.
Going to see my wife's family in Tanzania, so I'll have plenty of sightseeing to do that will keep me off of the internet.

Ok the last couple weeks have been pretty crazy for me, but I think things are turning around now. Should I move the story along? Xjremon should be back by now. I'll wait a couple days before making a post.
I've got a RL friend who is interested in pbp games so he might join. Nothing written in stone yet.

It's rather disheartening to see this fade as it has. But oh well I suppose.

Ok I've been in contact with Xjremon. Dormir will not be back. Genisisect, would you like to continue solo? If not, that's fine. If so, is there anything you want to do differently or go from where we are?

So my first use would be to roll up 3 more characters and jump into a level appropriate 5man instance... it would be hard too sustain role play with so many characters so there would be a greater focus on the fighting but I should be able to through enough dialogue to establish their relationships if we just jump in in media res... otherwise I have an interesting idea involving Meridia and Thalnazz going to have a chat with some nagas...

Not at the moment, but it’s very tempting to go back...

I took a four month break, played for a couple months, and was about to take another break but something told me to hold off. Then allied races became available!
Thankfully, I can start the Nightborne right away.
