It's nice that you can group across servers with Real ID friends now.

I'm probably into a logical merging point with Allyk's storyline. I don't know how you two would want to deal with that though. I would be fine if we just took a pause until those storylines merge (if that was the intention).

I figured it was heading there, yeah. Probably meet at the zepplin.

So I'm not reading the other character's intro threads, figuring it's easier to avoid metagaming/ problems separating player knowledge and character knowledge. Should I be?

Yeh I'm pretty sure that every party member will dislike another simply by the race they rolled. Let alone the fact we have some horde and alliance members.

I think the orc and troll will get along. That's about it.
I'm excited that these threads are looking like they'll merge together soon. Still gotta figure out how this dwarf gets involved.

I'm thinking Dormir might become troll dinner once day.

Also, I'm moving next week and getting married next weekend. I may or may not be able to get on here and post much the next couple days, since I'll be (hopefully) packing up practically everything this weekend. Might squeeze in one more short post right now before I go change my life forever.

Hi everyone! Hope the week has treated you well. I wanted to pick your collective brains about something that I greatly fear: game death.
I've been part of a few games that faded away into oblivion. Life gets busy. We all know this. Xjremon is getting married tomorrow. His solo thread will move along when he's available again. If he were with a group, I would ask to bot him during his absence. Everyone else is either just meeting or about to meet. I don't want to take that away from you guys. This kind of coming together seems better than "you meet in a tavern". It's boring and played out.
So! I want to know what you all think would help keep this game alive. More combat? More role-play? More direction? Less of something? I check GP a few times a day in case my email didn't notify me of a new post - it's happened more than once.

I'm here, and watching. I think that it will pick up once we're all together. There may be a temptation to slack off in a solo thread that doesn't happen as much in a group thread.

I do like the idea of the solo threads - it gives the characters more life, which should be pay dividends in the group story.
