As the female form slams into the bars, the inhabitants of the cell are quick to act. Elias grabs at the woman be fails to keep a firm grip on her body as she slips free of his grasp. In the confusion, Axon and Grim try and reach for the keys, with Grim successfully sliding the keys off the hook and into his palm.

The woman doesn't seem to notice as she stands in a huff, looking at them, then over to Razhel nearby. "You will all be PATIENT!" She wheels around to the man on the table. "But FIRST-" she starts, as the man on the table kicks a second time, this time striking his heel directly into the woman's face, sending her sprawling to the floor again just as Grim opens the western-most cell door.

She doesn't seem to notice and quickly pops back up to her feet, moving to the man on the table. Her weapon still in hand, she carefully avoids a third attempt to kick her. All her attention is on him, as she seems intent to finish what she started.
OOC:
Everyone up - no combat at this point, but that could change. For now, she seems singularly focused on the table-bound man. Do you take advantage of her distraction? Intervene?

With the cell door open Elias slides put and advances towards the sadistic female. With no weapons in easy reach, Elias raises his fists and moves to attack.
OOC:
Elias will move to I6 and attack the female.

Elias pushes forward and lunges at the woman. She catches sight of him through her periphery and, recognizing the threat, dodges out of the way with supernatural ease.
OOC:
Now we're in combat - Initiative Order posted below. Everyone can act now except Iosef. Razhel, if she wishes may ready an action in case her cell is unlocked. While we're in combat, please state which cell on the map your character moves to each round, if they move at all. To keep pace, if you do not post a cell movement, I will otherwise move you to where your action makes the most sense.

With the keys secured by one of the others, he stepped back to the wall and instinctively cried, "ደማቅ ጨለማ!"

A burst of light followed by a deep darkness consumed the dread doctor! The light dazzled him briefly but the deep darkness brought the first smile to his face since... since he could remember.

[ +- ] Flare!
Whenever you cast an evocation spell, you may select one affected target (creepy doc lady) that fails its save to suffer the choking airlessness of the void, silencing it (as silence, but affecting only the target) for 1 round.

Grim rushes out of the cell behind Elias and rounds the operating table to place himself at the instrument cart and to cut off the 'doctor' should she attempt to move away. He glances to Razhel and shouts, "Catch!" Tossing her the keys.

Razhel waits at her cell door as she notices two of the others escape and begin to engage the crazy woman who is wielding the broken shear blade. her attention is drawn to the man moving around the operating table as he calls out and reaches to snatch the keys out of the air, as they are tossed her way.

Elias doesn't concentrate on the fact that he missed, he simply renews his attack on the female. If anything I can keep her occupied until the others can assist.

Razhel catches the keys in mid air and is able to swiftly slide them into the lock, freeing the mechanism.
OOC:
@RageRed - Catching the keys and unlocking the door can count as a move action, if you'd like to then take any additional actions.

Axon's spell bursts a mote of light in front of the enemy's face. It flinches, but otherwise seems unnerved by the spectacle.

Elias continues his own engagement against the woman but to no avail.

As Grim skirts past her, the frenzied "doctor" looks from side to side, quickly realizing she's outnumbered. She turns to her left with the piece of broken shears in her hand. The edge of the blade sinks into table-bound man's abdomen. He screams in pain until the scream becomes a gurgle, then a final release of air as his body goes limp. She laughs maniacally. "Now tell me," she says, "On a scale of 1 to 10, how is the pain?" She pulls the blade free and steps back.

The way she looks around her, it is clear she doesn't like being surrounded and outnumbered. She decides to not await a response and begins to slink away towards the Eastern door, avoiding attacks where she can.
OOC:
Map updated. The enemy attacked and moved her speed - Elias, Grim, and possible Razhel may include an Attack of Opportunity in their next post.

Rage - if you'd like to make an attack of opportunity, include your extra move from above into your next post so as to be closer, then take your turn as normal.

Everyone is up again and free to post in any order!

Razhel attempts to step in front of the 'doctor' as she flees like a coward. She drops into an instinctual martial stance and cold cocks the crap out of her with a punch that would drop an average man. "My turn!" She says with satisfaction. "Where are you running off to? Not so much with the loud mouth boasts, now that I'm free...huh?"

Elias will move and follow her. If he can make it, he'll stop at N8 and attack.

"Excuse me!" he calles out in indignation as she stabs the man on the table. One that seemed so full of life just a second ago giving up so quickly was a bad sign. Was he still hanging on or was he gone completely?

OOC:
Razhel moves to L6 by the time enemy cuts through - doing some backtracking to correct movement.

@Equinox - He would not. Positioning is right, but flanking bonus is received "when making a melee attack" and the Trip combat maneuver specifies it is made "...in place of a melee attack". I would interpret this to mean Trip /=/ a melee attack. Your combat maneuver also first prompts an AoO from the enemy. The damage causes your maneuver to take a penalty equal to the damage (-6)
** Attacks of Opportunity **

As the woman attempts to flee the newly-unbound prisoners, Elias swings his fist at her. She dodges it effortlessly and skirts past before Grim attempts to trip her up and interrupt her movement. She catches sight of his attempt and swings the half-shears at him in a fury as she passes. The blade cuts deep into the flesh of his arm, causing immense pain to wash through his body.

This slight delay allows Razhel to step in front of her path, blocking her squarely in place, before then punching her in the jaw. The woman's face seems to stretch and discolor from the impact, if only for a moment. She sneers at Razhel and her mocking words before pushing past, kicking the small table of tools over on the way, its contents scattering to the ground.

**Round 2**

Elias chases the woman down and attempts another strike against her backside, but the attack fails to connect.

Though difficult to tell from this distance, Iosef looks for any signs that the man on the table somehow survived the attack against him and finds none.
OOC:
This post was to catch us up through the multiple attacks of opportunity, but I went ahead and rolled Elias and Iosef's round 2 stuff in. I will wait for Round 2 actions from Grim, Razhel, and Axon before the enemy acts again.

His stomach sank as he saw no signs of life from the tortured man. That he was finally at peace was little consolation to... Who was he exactly? Grappling with his missing identity was an intrusive annoyance in the way of his grief for not saving the man who apparently woke them from their nightmare. What he owed, he could not give. He slumped against the bars in surrender to the situation, giving no heed to the battle pitched in front of him.

Razhel quickly catches up to the woman who brazenly tries to breeze past her and slams a fist into the back of her head. "Where are you going?" She screams out.

I'll have Razhel move to N7, if that's okay - it appears to be only location she could move to that would allow her to attack the enemy.
