Chapter 5 - Wave Echo Cave

Kerisha's eyes widen as she spots the floating skull. The green of its flame flickers in her eyes, mirroring the rage and competitiveness inside her to take it on in combat. Her grip tightens and her feet shuffle, anxious for the group to release her to charge into battle.

Eyes watching the flame skull warily Karma asks, "Shall We try going another way?"

"I would think at all costs. That thing is likely the cause of all the death."

Kerisha starts to shake and whine like a wounded dog at the thought of running away finding another route. It takes all her inner strength to not charge the flaming skull.

Gerbo looks at Kerisha, thinking silently for a bit. "Well, they are paying us to clear this, so we have to fight it sooner or later, right? We should take it when we have a plan." He taps his foot as he thinks. Setting down his weapons, he pulls out a clockwork frog. "I do have this. We could try to lead it into an ambush."

Kerisha gives Gerbo a big tusky grin. She looks excitedly to the others for their agreement as she fantasises about what she can do with the remnants of the skull. Maybe a flaming skull helmet.

"Perhaps, but maybe we could trick it into leaving?" He offers with no idea of a solution.

Karma racks his brain and wishes he had time to have communion with nature, or possibly a snack. "If we rush the flaming dude maybe we can overwhelm it, even thou our track record is not the best for this type of thing."

Gerbo begins winding up the clockwork frog, then sets the stop. "I could hit it with a crossbow shot, then let this guy go and maybe it thinks this did it and comes to investigate. Then Kerisha jumps out when it gets close enough to charge in

Readying his crossbow, he waits to see if anyone objects and moves out of sight of the skull.

Kerisha looks as giddy as Carp usually does as she hides waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting skull.

Karma shrugs his shoulders, "Sounds sweet dude, what could possibly go wrong. Do it!"

Belanor takes up the best hiding spot he can find.
