Ape

Two closest apes throw stones at Jim and all move closer while picking new stones, though they have to waste time avoiding the trees.
The rest of the apes moves closer with no real problem - moving high up does not slow them down, but they move cautiously.

Green zone is difficult terrain (except for apes who are app the trees) and provide half cover to anyone in there.
You don't need to describe your exact movement vector, I will put your PC as I see fit. We will be using grid movement in dungeon maps, this is more like free form and I'm OK to let you move a bit more that your speed allow.

Pacan looks around and holds her quarterstaff up, speaking mystical words as she glides her hand over the smooth wood. A crackle of green energy races along the surface and it seems to expand slightly and looks like it's been reinforced with heavy bark. She settles into a stance and prepares to attack if an ape comes towards her.

Jim who attention is very much in front of him only barely takes in the mess behind him. There is nothing he can do at the moment. He calls to Shara. We need to move back out of these ape's land. He will keep his shield up and dodging as he hopes to back up with Shara assisting in the pulling the mule back. Jim already looks hurt from not being able to dodge full the stone being tossed at him. But he is sure that he isn't going to handle all those apes too!

And surprisingly Jim puts away sword and really has both hands on his shield trying to deflect while backing away. Obviously in a very defensive pose. He hopes actions will speak louder than words as his voicing earlier didn't seem aid any. Will back up with Shara and mule as much is possible.

Nebula hooks her foot on a rock and gives Bruno the donkey a yank, finally stopping its retreat.

Nebula's eyes turn dark and starry as she raises her hands and conjures the sounds of thunder and rain, hoping it might encourage the apes to retreat.

"Agreed, Shara says to Jim. But we don't need to hurt them, she thinks, just give them a shock. Shara forms a small point of blue light in her palm. She flings her arm around, scattering the light like seed, and three glowing, blue needles of arcane energy sweep through the air, thudding into some of the apes and exploding into clouds of sparkling blue powder. "That should scare them, now let's go!"

Ape 1 quickly gets down and in front of Sharagwyn landing 2 blows
Ape 2 hesitates looking at the direction where thunderstorm were originated and to the Ha'aroo. (dodge)
Ape 3 gets down and throws a stone - again at Sharagwyn who appear to be frontline character by now
Ape 4 hit by guiding bolt has a mystical dim light glittering on it, blood flow through it's mouth as it continue crying and throw it's stone at Sharagwyn, but do not move any further
Ape 5 throws stone at Nebula who raised her hands (but has disadvantage due to range)
Ape 6 were trying to get into melee range with Nebula, but Travers block her way, so Ape6 attack Travers

Scared by the approach of the apes, Nebula stumbles back, trying to put some distance between them.

She mutters some arcane words - it was clear these beasts weren't just going to leave them alone. She sends out some of the pain in her head, to try the apes brain for a while.

Throwing his axe as the ape gets into range.

As the ape lands Infront and hits him with an attack Travers draws and lashes out with his longsword grunting as he does so.

Ha'aroo thinks to himself "i guess we are doing this"

Action: Ha'aroo cast Vicious mockery on ape 6 as Travers is facing off with it one on one right now.

Bonus Action: Gives a bardic inspiration to Travers

Shouts out to apes: "WE NEED TO STOP FIGHTING!"

As the ape pounds her chest, the arcane mist shudders and parts. Shara cries, stumbling back and wincing as a blow connects, leaving her dazed. At the same time, Pacan runs up and swings at the creature. Weakened and afraid, Shara crawls back on her hands behind the mule, looking wildly around at the battle.

Using my action to Disengage, then moving to the square behind and to the right of the mule, still holding onto the halter or rope if I can.

Jim takes Shara place to guard her retreat. He is still weaponless and using his shield and dodging. Seems his heroism refreshes him. Get back away as far as you can with that mule.
