2: Valley of Dead Unicorns

Bobby makes to grab Kosar and heft the man up over his shoulder, "Hold on!" He moves swiftly to leave this place while they can, checking briefly to nod to his sis. "Let's scram!"

"I'm with you Bro. Let's go!" Sheila shakes off the vestiges of the dead bitch's inlfuence and gives Skylla's body a final kick, before rushing from the collapsing demiplane with Bobby, and heading for the stairs of the tower.

"is everyone safe and able to go? Kosar as well? Go go!" There was no time to properly check on Kosar's health; Hank trusted Bobby's strength to aid their erstwhile friend in escaping from the crumbling tower.

Bobby looks around for their friend after setting Kosar down. "That was close. Too close."

Rushing out, Eric nods in agreement. That was close. Looking around, Eric surveys his friends and adds. Who needs healing?

Presto leans against a wall. It was all too much. He missed his solitude, his gentle peace, his quiet study and pursuit of knowledge and exploration of what should be. While Eric's kind assistance provided a gentle balm, he was far from feeling ok. He still feels like a blended soup of fear, fury, and shock.

"Kosar...how are you? Are you hurt? What did they force you to do?"

"Where to next?" Shiela's disembodied voice asks. "This dead unicorn realm is creepy and I don't like standing around here, even if I am invisible."

A fiery streak rippled through the air near you, and from it emerged Venger's former Nightmare and a unicorn wreathed in leaves, vines, and power.

"The warding around this cursed valley has fallen. Behold your arisen friend."

Could it be?

Bobby turns as the nightmare comes forth. A confused look passes over his face at its words and he stares a moment, dumbfounded, at the unicorn behind it. Tears well up in his eyes as his fingers tremble and Thunderclub falls from his grasp, landing on the ground with a soft thud. It exclaims annoyance in his mind, but Bobby pays it no heed. His mouth grows taught as he struggles to hold back his emotions. Unable to keep it back, he sobs and runs forward to throw his muscled arms around his friend's neck in the truest expression of love and friendship possible for the big man. His tears greet Uni's mane as he cries softly and holds his friend with a gentle grip. "How?" he asks finally, between broken attempts to breathe, "I'm so glad you're ok. I thought-I thought..."

"Uni, you're recovered! Lead us out of here!"

Thank Angharradh you are alright Uni! Eric breathed a sign of relief.
