A Gathering Storm

Bartalom sees what Oria saw. As to strengths and weaknesses, they're people of sorts, no more or less.

Kvarek turns toward the standing archer and charges him, intent on a tackle.

Although by no means built like a warrior, Bartalom recognises the prone creature as humanoid and decidely smaller than he. In a moment of impetuosity, the novice throws himself on top of the creature to restrain it.

"be still and you will not be hurt"

Ansel sees Kvarek bravely charge forwards with the intent to tackle the archer. While moving into position to the side of the archer Ansel shouts: "You won't escape. Yield, Archer. My friend here can be devious."

Kvarek should roll Accurate, which is the "to hit" stat in Symbaroum.

Bartalom tries to jump on the prone figure, but it rolls to the side, avoiding being pinned.

Lothar stands over the fallen archer, where his staff swept off his feet as the others assail their own quarry. "Might be best to jus lie dere if I were ye." He looks at the hooded man in consternation.

Running across the way, Kvarek launches into a tackle.

Kvarek hits the archer squarely before he can get a shot off, and the being falls to the ground.

Roll 1d4 damage for an unarmed attack, plus another 1d4 for hitting a designated foe by Ansel's Leader ability.

That's enough damage to either knock them down or you can take a Free Attack. Kvarek's choice, but I think you were attempting to knock them down.

The other bowman backs away and tries to shoot Kvarek (Defense roll please, +0, or take 3 damage).

The one he knocked down tries to roll to his feet, but the gate guard at his feet (they're alive) grabs him and they start to wrestle.

Around the goblin guide, the two knocked down foes scramble to their feet. The goblin gets behind Oria, hiding from the cloaked figures.

The two on the ground get up and both attack Lothar and Oria. (Defense rolls please, +0, or take 3 damage).

Then you're all up. Lothar and Oria first, then Kvarek, Bartalom, and Ansel.

As the diminuative figure rolls away from Bartalom's grasp, the wizard cries out, "Come here, damn it, I'm trying to spare your miserable life"

When the cloaked man comes at Oria she tries to dodge even though she catches the goblin guide rushing behind her out of the corner of her eye. With any luck, her movement will distract the attacker enough to miss the guide as well if she succeeds.

A sly smile briefly comes across Ansel's face as Kvarek knocks down the first archer that a guard immediately starts wrestling. Ansel hasn't really been paying much to the others as he realizes there is a second bowman and his smile fades. I feel more confident about this group than when we were at The Infested Bole. Ansel points at the second archer and yells: "Kvarek lookout for the second archer."

Blocking the foe's strike with his staff, Lothar swing over his head to gain some separation. "I tried being civil, now we have to do things the hard way. Be done with you." The hunter draws the end back and strikes out to the stomach, trying to knock the wind from his attacker.

Oria and Kvarek both get cut, but Lothar dodges the blow.

Bartalom tries to grab the cloaked men, but it ignores his words and avoids his hands. Lothar however cracks him and he falls again.
