Moving forward to retrieve weapons, the party spots damage in the channel ahead. The stones have been broken and moved, and the area has been built up with pieces of wooden boards from elsewhere. It is an entrance, a tunnel for creatures smaller than yourselves. There is even been an attempt to push away the muck as if a broom was used.

A short rest would be ideal as it give Jasper time to take a HD recovery and heal the damages he has. That and use arcane recovery to get the slot back that he used.

Could you confirm please - the 5' wide walkway continues forward but on it's wall there is an entrance to a tunnel for smaller creatures ?
Just as I described earlier - Sadur will not take a short rest here in this place - I'm both afraid as a player that I will get further implications on failed con saves if we stay here as long as an hour and IC Sadur only want to get a shower back at hotel. Am I overplaying my PC personality? Please let me know if you think I'm a problem player and I will make my PC shut up and just follow whatever orders the party gives him.

Since Sadur were the only person to go gather his weapons, but others just talking about being careful I assume he is the only to damage in the channel ahead. He calls out: I see bug rat hole here. Don't think they will come out soon. I go back ask what we do with dam and the hole
Sadur turns back and not afraid to go through the tunnel back alone.

The hole is in the channel below. Sewage trying to flow past would end up draining down into that opening instead.

Not all the way out, but a short retreat back for a short rest to recoup.

Since I see no objections on my roleplay I will only describe what my PC does. Sadur will not sit for an hour in the tunnel doing nothing. I don't see reason we can't split party. Sadur probablycan get back before shortrest hour is over. It was just 1/8 mile wasn't it?

Sadur has said what he had to say. He silently goes back out of tunnel. All way out.

Backing away at first, the party walks the half-mile back to the gate where the Works-Manager is there, waiting. With trepidation, he waits until you have all gathered right to the gate before unlocking it and letting you through, with wide birth. Reapplying some salve he stands back. "Is it? ... is it, done?"

OOC:

You can exit the tunnel and have a rest out in the fresh air and reset, taking a Short Rest.

There is a rat hole. Big rat. he shows the size with his arms You know how to get them out of hole? Smoke? Fire? Water? Bait? We can't get to them we can't kill them for you, I'm afraid

Sadur would rather get back into the tunnel immediately should Works-Manager provide potion of oil or something to deal with rathole.
But looks like it has already been decided we have a SR. Let's say Sadur respects companions' decision to chill

"... Damn it all. A hole in the tunnel?" He was working out that he'll need to do a lot of work now, where as he hoped it would be taken care of by the party and he could just go home. "We'll have to send a team after you flush out the danger. Now, if I were you fellers, I would just rip that blockage out and see if that don't handle the issue. Then I can send some fresh water down the channel and clear out some of this mess." He was not the type to choose to crawl into unknown holes, which is the other obvious route. "Flood'em out? Or just drown em, like that." The man shrugs, carefree in his callousness.

Xarakas follows the group not really caring about continuing or falling back. As the hroup get together and establish the nextbthing to do, he offers to clean everyone using his magic. At least it will get rid of some of the smell for the moment.

So we are taking a SR, aren't we, I assume I don't need to roll as I restore minimum of 4 hp, which already put me at max hp. I just remember I've used my only hit die
