Guljian seems beyond help, and begins gasping his last breaths. He begins to laugh madly. "The orb! I got it from the pale child at the wheel that wails. It has shown me such wonders. The city of glass! The gibbering black! They are coming! They are coming!" He wails and moans, and finally succumbs. He is dead.

Augustine stares at the corpse, frowning with a look of both scorn and pity. "Well... this is what happens when you turn your back on the light of the God-Emperor and seek solace in the corrupting arms of chaos!"
He folds his arms and breaths in heavily, lost in his own deep thoughts. "Those words of his could just be the ravings of mad man, but perhaps there are clues in his ramblings that we can piece together and discern meaning?"
Also, did he just die from his injuries or was he killed by something else?

As the life leaves Guljian, Severian says quietly, "God-Emperor save us, be our shield against the night of chaos". Standing once more, the would-be inquisitor gazes intently at the corpse whilst ruminating upon the final words uttered from within the web of warp-tinged madness - pale child at the wheel that wails…. I loom for something safe to put the artifact in so we can transport it safely. Look around the room for anything of importance. Plus check the body.

McFelson, there's a velvet lined box on the desk next to the orb that looks like it was made to hold it. Guljian's body doesn't reveal anything, except perhaps that his wounds weren't enough to kill him.

I cautiously replace the artifact in the box. Time to see if I can hack his computer and search his room for any information as to where he gotbthis and who may be involved

McFelson, you discover several charges to a cantina called the Screaming Wheel, perhaps this is the wailing wheel Guljian referred to.

You all leave the mansion, and begin the trek down lower in the hive to the Screaming Wheel. The sanctionaires accompanying you know the place. They describe it as dingy and rough, and a hang out for a gang known as the Babyfaces.
The main hive is home to the majority of Desoleum's citizens (at least the registered ones) and smells of ozone and industry. The air is stale and thick with smog, despite the constant hum of the air-cyclers. It's a shift change, and weary workers fill the halls, forcing you to loudly press through the throngs.
You arrive at the cantina. What do you do?
