Cade steps out and waves Ash over, as she glances around them and moves closer to the statue to get a better look at the details. "Wonder if this is supposed to represent anyone in particular?" She whispers and directs her maglight's beam across the ground to the base of the white stone statue.

Ash brings up his light joining Cade to look at the statue. "Likely it does. If this place is built on the memories of either this guy we've found evidence of..or us?" He adds with a recollection of the green room.

The marble statue itself is stained with age and moisture. The face is covered by the statue's hands, doesn't seem like it was even carved at any point. At the statue's feet is a stone tablet, shattered into pieces

Cade focuses her light on the shattered tablet for a few moments to see if thee is anything to be seen on its remains, then moves back across the small courtyard to the other two exits. "Down..?" She points to the cellar door. "..Or the other hallway?"

Ash weighs their options. "Let's go for the other hallway first." He answers, with a quick gesture of his lightbeam toward the entrance.

Before leaving: Cade, the tablet looks like it might once have depicted the sun.

I am going to be minimally present for a few days, so I'm proceeding with yall moving into the next room. If that's inaccurate, I'm happy to adjust when I return. Sorry for the break <3

The door opens, a shorter hallway this time, leading to a similarly short set of stairs.

The space is unmistakeable. It's an art gallery. The walls are white marble and your steps echo clearly. Stone pillars line the length, to the side of each painting.

All of the paintings are old, though some appear older than others. Some of the frames look gnawed upon.

The painting of a Man on a Horse is directly across from you when you enter. The next 4 paintings go from right to left - then the next wall has a door - then the remaining 3 - ending at Ash and Cade again.

Cade enters the gallery and finds the painting rather interesting. She stops to focus on the portrait of the child. It does seem familiar, but she can't place the subject.

Ash takes his time studying the paintings. "Creepy shit." He says. "Looks like they were all painted in the same style and perhaps by the same person." He gestures toward the last one - the empty frame. "Guess we're supposed to fill that in?"

"Oh.." He hooks a thumb back to the child without eyes. "Doesn't that one look like that weird kid in that television commercial?"

"Yeah. It does." She agrees on the appearance of the weird kid in the painting. "Let's try something. Come over here and let's both touch the blank wall inside the empty frame together, Okay?"

She moves closer to the frame and awaits Ash. "On a count of three...One...Two.."

"Sure. Alright." Ash positions himself and readies his hand. "..Three." He places his hand flat to the empty space inside the frame, timing it with Cade's.

"Well, that was exciting." Cade says sarcastically and takes her hand away from the wall. "I wish we were playing a set at the club right now. This place is nothing like I imagined it would be."
