Jeurgen removes the Ivory Tusks from the big boar before skillfully cutting off a haunch from one of the smaller ones, bags his meat and marches off without any further delay.

"You coming or not."
Says the the angry Dwarf, more a statement than a question.

Without any place to store a bloody chunk of meat, Roland places it on the ground, figuring something will come along and make use of it.
Without a word, he falls in with the angry Dwarf, happy to get a move on.

"But my bacon! Sigh. . . maybe I should carry a knife." unequipped to do the butchering himself Joran follows as well.

Irwin holds up the meat slab, "We could just relocate a short distance and start cook?" he says to the others waiting to see what they say.
OOC:
If we walk a short distance away from the boars, say their den, we could setting into cooking.

OOC:

My concerb with cooking at this point is wasting half the day travel? Are we on any time pressure for finding the artifact?
Apr 16, 2023 10:08 pm
"I'd rather keep moving and do any cooking around a fire at night."
Apr 16, 2023 11:36 pm
Irwin nods placing the butchered meat on the ground, wiping his hands on grass before moving off.

And the party is moving generally northward again?
Apr 17, 2023 9:45 am
OOC:

Yes

OOC:
Same as before the fight I would assume. Same formation, direction, and pace.
Apr 18, 2023 10:25 pm
As you move on northward, the area seems very much the same has you started the day. Mosquito bite just mean. As it is nearing stopping time you happen on to an unlucky deer which I'm saying didn't last long enough to roll dice on but it is close enough to camping time. You recently passed a creak and refilled up your water supply.

So how the party dealing with the camping, a deer, and Jeurgen has some bagged meat?
Apr 18, 2023 10:55 pm
Jeurgen slowly pulls out a big slab of meat from his meat sack, nodding and grinning, he makes sure everyone gets a good look at the juicy goodness before stopping at Joran,

"Not too big is it? Think you can handle it?"
OOC:
Just teasing m8 Jeurgen is still miffed you killed the boar!
Apr 18, 2023 11:26 pm
Nara will also provide the piece of meat he bagged.
"We'll need to set a watch, but dinner is first. I don't need to recover magic, so I can take the mid watch."
Apr 19, 2023 12:52 am
OOC:
Hmm. I forgot to mention to you MaJunior that Nara doesn't have any bags listed on the character unless I missed something.
Apr 19, 2023 1:24 am
Roland chuckles to himself at Jeurgen's ribbing. Hell, he deserves it for not being equipped properly to carry some freshly hunted meat.

"May as well get a fire going." he says as he starts to wander about looking for kindling.

"Between the boar meat and the deer it looks like we'll be eating good tonight, and I'll gladly take first watch when everyone starts to settle in."

OOC:
Does he not have a backpack?
Not worried about getting blood on pitons and a hammer. Most of what's in the pack is hard.

OOC:
MaJunior: Mess Kit, 2 Waterskins, Tinder Box, Crowbar, Whetstone, Hammer, 20 piton, Map Case, Flute, 10 Chalk, 2 Soap, 4 Sprig of Mistletoe get 2 pounds of raw meat with them.
Tents take two spaces (vertical or horizontal) and each person takes one space and fire takes one space. For camp organization let me know where everyone and things are. Try to keep to the center as much as possible so if there is combat, we don't go off the play map.

https://otfbm.io/15x15/@dc60/l9g-bTENT/l10g-fTENT/i10r-Fire/j12g-bTENT/i12g-fTENT/?bg=https://i.pinimg.com/originals/b7/a2/1b/b7a21b1531b4bd877adcaff4dcd3e80a.jpg

Sleeping in light armor has no adverse effect on the wearer, but sleeping in medium or heavy armor makes it difficult to recover fully during a long rest. When you finish a long rest during which you slept in medium or heavy armor, you regain only one quarter of your spent Hit Dice (minimum of one die). If you have any levels of exhaustion, the rest doesn’t reduce your exhaustion level.

Edit:
Fire Added
fTENT (i12) = front of tent, bTENT = back of tent. That would be Jeurgen's tent.
fTENT (l10) = front of tent, bTENT = back of tent. That would be Roland's tent.
Apr 19, 2023 2:52 am
For simplicity I vote we put the campfire middle middle and just space out the tents generally around it. I have no preference on where you put me.
Apr 19, 2023 10:53 pm
OOC:
Fire is middle sounds good to me. I suggest we L pitch tents on the right side of the fire, more open space to spot anything approaching.
Apr 20, 2023 1:09 am
"Going to get my tent set up while we still got a bit of light. ’nough room for another if anyone doesn’t want to rough it outside."

With the fire started Roland looks for a spot that will work for his tent, finding an area between a tree and some large rocks.

"Looks like a pretty sound location here." he says to the others, waiting for any objections before getting to work.
OOC:
Looking at L9-L10, figuring someone else can take J8-K8 to give us that L shape Mathfuric mentioned.
Roland will definitely doff his armor when it’s his turn to rest.
