I am Dunheved. Long time gaming fan but limited rpg player. Loved board games and wargames until real life and work slowed that for a dozen years or so. Slowly picked some things up again after being a parent.
Now into RPG using online PIP for the convenience.

Never a great fan of D n D (sorry to the vast majority of you all!). Effectively I have been exclusive to The One Ring (Cubicle 7 version) since 2012. Now looking at the new version of that game published with Free League. Since there are not many games on this site for this system I guess I will try to fix that!

Ancient History: my favourite games in my earlier life included (Avalon Hill) Squad Leader and also Diplomacy. One game with billions of dice rolls, and another game with zero dice rolls! But I was always looking for a good game based on Lord of the Rings. Everything I tried fell short until The One Ring appeared. (Though I never met MERP.) This is THE game for Tolkien.

So I am glued to this game. I have been an On-line player on Tavern Keeper for several years, and have run some too now.
