I've thoroughly enjoyed the story so far. I know it can be difficult story-wise in PbP, considering how often players can come and go.
As for Regan... I'm not sure if it's strategy or paranoia. That said, the two aren't mutually exclusive. I'm trying to not do that thing players do where we immediately tell others that we've never met before everything about ourselves, just because the player knows the other characters are PCs. And while the group seems honorable... we met during an undead attack and immediately got caught up in fey shenanigans -- Regan doesn't really know any of you yet (with one exception). He'll keep it relatively close to the vest for now.
A vague understanding that he's after slavers is more than enough... and should let him gauge the others' stance on that matter.
And I'd like to second the "fantastic GM" part! True words, Oopsy, true words.
