OOC:
Just to make sure I am understanding these results, each pair was attack and damage at once? So the 1 missed but the 6 hit, doing 6 damage, reduced by 2 for my grass armor, so I've taken 4 of my 9 hp.
May 18, 2023 11:17 pm
OOC:
Correct.

OOC:
Palari has DC 3+2, so 5 points. Meaning she received 1 point damage. Is that correct? So she down to 4 of her 5 HP

OOC:
Nope. The DC is what the enemy needs to roll equal to or over in order to hit you. The DR is what reduces damage.
May 19, 2023 4:38 am
OOC:
Ah, in that case Palari drops to the ground dead. Her DR is 0, and she only has 5 HP, so the 6 damage kills her. Oh dear! Lol!

OOC:
Trying to catch the two ranged opponents first and then whoever else of the enemies she can in the Sleep spell (Range: 40 ft.)
Elyshaeba holds her ground, as the two projectiles streak by her. She blows across the palm of her hand and a faint sparkling aura, like fine sand, is carried across the distance of the battlefield, falling upon the enemy.

Number of slumberers - (2d3)

OOC:
You are not dead yet. Check out Damage and Death on p.37.
Elyshaeba recites a quick formula, performs a quick wave of her hands, and four raiders fall unconscious to the ground, including the two archers.
OOC:
Sleep lasts D6 turns, please roll your duration.
Glump is up next!

Sleep..sleep...

Rolls

Turns - (1d6)

(2) = 2

May 19, 2023 8:45 pm
Seeing Palari fall, Glump moves quickly to stand over her prone body and engage the cur who injured her. He swings his sword. "Die you bastard!"

Sword attack - (1d6)

(4) = 4

Damage - (1d6)

(3) = 3

May 19, 2023 11:02 pm
Glump slashes at one of the remaining raiders, one of those who attacked Trendek. The cut is shallow however and the cur will live...

Korghar is up next!
May 22, 2023 6:34 pm
Korghar's eyes ignite with primal fury, his muscles tensed like coiled springs. Seeing Palari fall, the man bellows out a raw echo of pure wrath, and surges forward, attacking the same man as Glump!

OOC:
Raging grants you an extra HD, both for HP and attacking, go ahead and roll your extra HD to see if you succeed on a second attack.

OOC:
Thanks for the correction!

If Korghar kill the enemy with his first attack, he would go for the closest melee enemy if he manages to reach them.

(2) = 2

Damage roll 2 - (1d6)

(5) = 5

While Korgahr's gash is deeper on the raider, it still fails to down him.

Second round of combat.

Initiative
14 Trendek
12 Gilcyne
10 Valmara
10 Raiders
10 Elyshaeba
09 Glump
08 Korghar

Declare Spells:
If Glump wants to cast any spells, they are declared now.

Trendek is up, you can go ahead and roll your Fort save to see if you remain conscious if you haven't already rolled it, and then roll another d6 to see what happens to you as per p.37.

Since Trendek's "action" won't have much impact in this fight, Gilcyne can go ahead and make her action now.
May 22, 2023 7:42 pm
Still lost in her rage, Gilcyne turns on the next enemy and attempts to end their life.

Rolls

Attack roll - (2d6+1)

(33) + 1 = 7

May 22, 2023 7:53 pm
OOC:
It would be best to roll your dice separately in the future as the game is meant to see how many "attacks" hit, even when attacking with a H weapon. Still, two 4s (1d6+1 each) result in 2 hits. Go ahead and roll your damage.

Not sure if that succeeds, and gets her a roll on the table?

OOC:
Nope failure. She also has to roll on the table each round at her initiative to see what happens to her.
With a deft blow of her axe, Gilcyne separates a raider's head from his shoulders, spraying his friend with blood...

Valmara is up next!
May 22, 2023 10:46 pm
Seeing that only one of the raiders remains standing against her companions, Valmara puts away her bow and draws the ornate bastard sword into her hands.
OOC:
Not sure how many actions she can take. The enemy is 30 ft. away from her current position.
