Grim joins the others in leaving the smelly area behind. He points toward the room that holds the crates and steps inside to get out of the hallway. "Everyone still with us? Its only going to get worse for here until it gets better with the end of Loomis, Zandalus, and the nightmarish creature that stalks in dreams."

The sickening feeling of the room leaves itself behind several minutes after you leave the vicinity of Klades's body and the filth found in the shower room. Taking stock of the situation, you recognize there are still unexplored areas to the north and to the east, back towards the cultists' camp.
OOC:
Sickened condition is now gone, as is 'bless'. There are unexplored doors at K14 and S21/22. Where do you guys want to go next?

Feeling a bit better after a couple of... slightly fresher air, Elias turns to the others "Anything else in that hellish place?". There not being much more inside the room, steps a few times, still holding on to the corridor's wall. "Well guess he is right. There's still some other people I would like too meet in this asylum" he tries to smile as he says so, and keeps walking in the length of the corridor.

Grim moves to the middle of the hallway so that he can see the north door and the ones Elias is heading to explore in hopes of seeing if anyone enters in the area or tries, again, to ambush or trap them.

Ioseph puzzles over the iron-banded ring a few moments before realizing the interwoven layers of transmutation and evocation magic for what they are: this is a ring of emancipation!

While the others position themselves in the hallway, Elias approaches the eastern doors and throws them open, revealing another large courtyard. Dense mist fills the air. Eddies in the fog create phantom shapes among the shadows of bent trees and wilted foliage.

Seeing the wisps pf yellow mist creeping through the open door, Razhel calls out to Elias, "Well. What did you find?"

"More fog in here" Elias turns to tell the others. "Do guys think it's worth it exploring the courtyard with those things still around " he asks pointing at one of the shapes moving at the fringe of the yellow mist.

For clarification, the 'phantom shapes' seen here are shadows and light manipulations in the mist. You do recognize a difference between this and, for instance, the monstrous and strange shapes in the mist surrounding the asylum outside its outer walls. This courtyard is more in line with the other courtyards, which you have entered and crossed to some degree of success.

Yes lol 'some degree of success' - I am in no way indicating its safe out there, only that there are no clear indications of monsters in the mist like there are in the outer perimeter mists you've previously seen.

Heading north through the door at the end of the hall, Grim finds a large tower room. A row of rocking chairs face its tall windows, staring into the mist licking the outside of the glass. A heap of broken planks lies in one corner, the wreckage of a broken stairwell that still partially clings to the wall above.

The stairway used to climb to a platform about 15 feet overhead. Though this lower portion has collapsed you have only some slight difficulty using the debris to climb up and follow the remnants of the stairwell into the heights of the tower.

At the top you find large broken windows on all walls, looking out over a sea of churning saffron fog. Inside, dusty crates of every size fill the room.

In the center of the room is a yellow-cloaked individual, kneeling upon the cold ground with their mouth pointed up - yellow mist spews from their mouth in great voluminous fonts, writhing like tendrils toward the outside air. Their eyes are glazed over and white, reminding you of the sort of creature the hospital administrator, Eliege Losandro, had become.

This is an enclosed space at the top floor of the tower. We'll use the base floor map as its the same size and dimensions, but pretend its somewhere up above. It doesn't seem to notice you - what do you do?
