Sure I can take you to his camp. You walk 10 steps that way. She points in a random direction. And then you turn around and walk 10 steps in that direction. Taking you back to where you are. Then you are at his camp! She burst out laughing. That was fun. More!

"Little one, we can race to the camp, but not if we dont know its location. Please tell us, so this game can begin." if Reaching Rings is frustrated with Glimmer, it doesn't show in their voice.

Bottlespeaker pauses for a moment, realizing his error. "Is the mean man coming back? It’s not really ‘his’ campsite if he has left"

OOC:
Just to recap and quell any confusion. You got to the river. Repaired the bridge and crossed the river
From there you tracked big muddy boot prints to this abandoned campsite
As you arrived, Glimmer threw a bag at Popcorn and started talking to you.

"I think they mean this is where the man camped" Briarthorn said, a bit out of patience, "Which way did the man go when he left his camp? And how long ago did he leave?"

Glimmer flies up to her tree again. Hey popcorn, those seeds in the bag taste really good when you cook them up!
Treasure: The sack Glimmer tosses to Popcorn contains four large blue seeds that taste quite bitter if eaten raw. If they’re properly cooked up, they pop loudly into a fluffy pale blue treat, at which point each seed functions as a barkskin potion.

With cooked seedes in your inventory, you follow the tracks. After an hour you come the southern edge of the Verduran Forest. Here,
the trees give way to fields of crops and wildflowers, and a small village—Petalbrook—can be seen just a bit further on. The trail fades away once the track lead on the road leading into the village
From among the thinning trees, a curious and brave pack of deer decides to investigate the strangely mobile bundles of delicious petals, leaves, gourds, and mushrooms that have stumbled across their path. It’s only a moment later before the deer approach you to taste your foliage.A dear nibble Briarthorn the Roothless, but he manages to move his head to it is only sticks the dear gets.

Bottlespeaker pulls Twinsprout into the protective gourd which is his head, whispering "Stay hidden little one"
He turns to the deer with shield and staff raised, in Druidic he booms "Rydym yn golygu dim niwed i chi. Nebiwch eto ac fe gewch lond ceg o ddrain a gwenwyn! Mae glaswellt mwy blasus dros y ffordd honno, Gofynnaf ichi fynd i fwyta mewn hedd!"
I’m using the druids wild empathy ability to influence animal. I would use diplomacy to make a request

Bottlespeaker manages to shoo the grazing deer away, although they look disappointed.
The village of Petalbrook is friendly enough to visitors, and safe enough for its citizens to ensure the classic feel of small town comfort. This close to the Verduran Forest, and with several productive fields nearby, the villagers have no trouble securing food. The wildflower fields also make Petalbrook an ideal place for beekeeping. The village produces a considerable surplus of honey, which it trades with other villages in exchange for crafted goods.
