Chapter 1: The Great Grain Robbery

appear on the floor at the center of the room, beneath a massive cauldron of gently bubbling wax. Next to the bubbling cauldron, a towering set of sturdy wooden shelves are laden with a hodgepodge of tools for candle making and alchemy. Three doors lead out of this room, two along the east wall and a third in the northwest corner.
The ceiling of this stone room is 15 feet high. Its central feature, the bubbling cauldron, is filled with jasmine-scented wax.
There are also two flying homunculus in the room.

Darus
The two Homunculuses defend their master. As they get close the stench of lavender is overwhelming and intense.
Briarthorn the Roothless gags and the spell and is sickened(1)
Source Core Rulebook pg. 622 4.0
You feel ill. Sickened always includes a value. You take a status penalty equal to this value on all your checks and DCs. You can't willingly ingest anything—including elixirs and potions—while sickened.
You can spend a single action retching in an attempt to recover, which lets you immediately attempt a Fortitude save against the DC of the effect that made you sickened. On a success, you reduce your sickened value by 1 (or by 2 on a critical success).
Source Core Rulebook pg. 621 4.0
Persistent damage comes from effects like acid, being on fire, or many other situations. It appears as "X persistent [type] damage," where "X" is the amount of damage dealt and "[type]" is the damage type. Like normal damage, it can be doubled or halved based on the results of an attack roll or saving throw. Instead of taking persistent damage immediately, you take it at the end of each of your turns as long as you have the condition, rolling any damage dice anew each time. After you take persistent damage, roll a DC 15 flat check to see if you recover from the persistent damage. If you succeed, the condition ends.
Unless you can do something fancy to interrupt their attacks the result is a follows

Basically some tHP for Blairthorn
I think when Darus used that potion that was an interact action which has the manipulate trait. I think that means I get to make an opportunity attack against him. If it critically hits then it disrupts his action.
Other than that I have no way of mitigating that damage, so I am at 24/49 HP (unless he's disrupted and then one of his claw attacks may get changed out for another interact? I am not sure if he has another potion, or really what happens to the potion if I disrupt the action of him taking it? Does that mean the potion is wasted?)

"I gave you a chance!" Briarthorn roared as he lashed out at Darius with his longsword but as he did so he extended the roots of his hand so as to snag Darius by his clothes and pull him out of his stance, hoping he had put him off balance enough for a second swing of his longsword, before stepping back and leveling his longsword ready to parry any riposte the man brought at him showing off his masterful command of fighting skills.
Action 1: Snagging Strike (Requirements You have one hand free, and your target is within reach of that hand.
You combine an attack with quick grappling moves to throw an enemy off balance as long as it stays in your reach. Make a Strike while keeping one hand free. If this Strike hits, the target is flat-footed until the start of your next turn or until it’s no longer within the reach of your hand, whichever comes first.)
Flat Footed Condition for Reference: You’re distracted or otherwise unable to focus your full attention on defense. You take a –2 circumstance penalty to AC. Some effects give you the flat-footed condition only to certain creatures or against certain attacks. Others—especially conditions—can make you universally flat-footed against everything. If a rule doesn’t specify that the condition applies only to certain circumstances, it applies to all of them; for example, many effects simply say "The target is flat-footed." Action 2: Strike with Longsword (MAP -5)
Action 3: Dueling Parry (Requirements You are wielding only a single one-handed melee weapon and have your other hand or hands free. You can parry attacks against you with your one-handed weapon. You gain a +2 circumstance bonus to AC until the start of your next turn as long as you continue to meet the requirements.) (AC is now 23, Current HP: 24/49)
Forgot about Sickened Condition, so that would be -1 to those attack rolls as well. And forgot to take my persistent damage and to recover
So, with those rolls, still on fire, and now down to 20/49 HP
