you can have your fancy housing on top of your starting equipment. And you don't need to spend all your money. Who knows... you may need to bribe a pirate king or hire an army :)

Good progress with PC. Because I will re rolling skills for PC I want to ask
1. players who user 5e template (not a problem for custom) and have expertise, conditional advantage or other modifiers to skills - edit your skill description to include that, like this:
Would mean actual roll is 1d20+15
2. Please make sure your tool/vehicle/etc. proficiency are easy to find

The cloak of resistance is a problem, because I can't ad the plus 1 bonus to the saves. :-/

Aw dang. I'm not sure I want to re-write my sheet, but I do like a custom sheet I've found on this site. I just used a standard 5e sheet and didn't think to check about using a custom one. I'll add those notes.

I am currently working on my character.
Spending the gold is tricky though.
Plate armor, several weapons, a horse and some survival gear. Anything else? I have the feeling I am missing something.

I use a standard sheet. Yep. I adjusted the skills titles for changes for expertise. As for the tools, I append them on the bottom of the skills area.
Cool. Cargo is RICH with just about 6k gp. Like GM said early, hard to see a wizard spending gold. It appears none of my spells require anything expensive. Armor. LOL. Who needs it.
Cargo is 99% done. I do have to get a name for my crippled Tressym that can't fly. Suggestions?

Contingency options : 50gp Potions of healing x4+, 50 gp Antitoxin 2+, 300 gp diamond for Revival, 100 gp diamond dust Greater Restoration, other spell components, ???
How about Morgan, Glomeremus, Cucullatus, or Sphinx for the Tressym

DM said no additional magic items but as potions of healing are listed in PHB along with general gear so I assume we can buy them.
If not then oh well.
If they are an option then what about other common magic items? Current assumption based on what DM said is no. Those are more setting specific. But still wondering if they can be bought.

Cargo has 10 potions of healing. Best to be ready. Going to have a lot of gold wrapped up in easy to travel gems. Cargo also has a healer kit too.

Appearance: Cargo typically wears just traveling clothing with a cloak and nothing special. His own looks draws enough attention. He always has a longsword and dagger combo to his side and usually a wand in a case too. So, he is never easy pick'ens. Pop on a waterskin and backpack then he is ready to travel. He keeps only one pouch on his belt.
Description: Cargo stands a good five feet four inches tall. His medium isn't thin showing off his elven heritage, but he does have the pointed ears. He is obviously part Drow as his skin is grey with a tint of purple in it. His shoulder length hair is white with tints of purple at the ends. You guess he is middle aged.
Known: The wizard in the tower.

Oh. Cargo can make short term healing elixirs. "Healing Elixir (UA)" spell, but Potion of healing work better for travel. That and his healing kit are about all he can do as far as healing is concerned. He is more a charming rogue/wizard with his Morgan. Uses his wand often. Wand this. Wand that. (Wand is his arcane focus.)
He is generally shunned when he travels. His Half-Drow Elf ness shows up well. Too well. He does better adventuring than with the common people. He is the wizard of the tower. And has Morgan.

Hmm. Didn't think about that. It was on my Wizard spell list from the internet. Have to have the GM say on that. Had to buy an Alchemist's Supplies kit to go with it.

It isn't essential to the character. Just an added feature.
