Day 2 Evening Shift - Cloudy Skies
As the early dusk sets in, casting a warm but fading glow over the landscape, they steer the Humvee down the lonely road. The soft, dim light paints the post-apocalyptic world in shades of orange and purple, creating a surreal atmosphere.
Their chosen campsite is a deserted expanse of farmland, the fields now swallowed by tall, wild grass and weeds. Clusters of gnarled trees dot the landscape, their silhouettes casting eerie shadows in the fading light. A derelict barn stands nearby, its weathered exterior offering a rustic form of shelter. In the distance, a rusting tractor sits partially buried in the earth, a relic of a time long past.
The evening breeze carries a sense of solitude, and the soft rustling of leaves adds to the quiet, contemplative air.
During every shift someone needs to keep watch. During the evening shift someone needs to set up camp. Everyone else is free to pick an action located at the top of this page.
Everyone will eat and drink while setting up camp. Please remove 1 ration and 1 water from your character sheet.[ +- ] Task Suggestions
Sheepdog: Set up Camp. He has a 69% chance of setting up camp, and a another 69% of making it hidden. (Rolls SURVIVAL to set up camp. Rolls RECON to make it hidden). Alternatively, he is good at keeping watch.
Cunningham: Keeping watch. He has a 74% of spotting an encounter. (Rolls RECON). Alternatively, he is good at survival related activities such as setting up camp. (SURVIVAL 65%)
Hunter: Any non-recon related task. Hunter is marginally worse (61% success) at survival than Cunningham and Sheepdog. She could take over making camp in a pinch or do any of the other survival related activates. (Rolls SURVIVAL)
Reed: Nothing critical (Sorry!). (He's rolling a straight INTELLIGENCE for most actions: d8)
Reed isn't trained in RECON or SURVIVAL which is what is needed during these shifts. He's best driving most shifts because he excels in that. Anything he chooses to do is really a bonus to the group.
