This is depressing to me I'm afraid. Why would you think it takes more than hour ? Besides after an hour other kamadan would know he were charmed by another PC would initiative fight with him.
Regardless, let me spoil you what your PCs does not know - flute did not impact frog the way it impacted kamadan. So the moment frog turns back into kamadam - creature will try to fight you/escape. We will be rolling another initiative and repeating the process. I know kamadan has very little to no chances to escape, but still a chance.

DM delete all in game posts beginning with when we voted to return back to archfey immediately and I roll initiative for another combat with kamadan as described above
We stay with existing narrative and DM involve your NPC Bajaz and a die roll to resolve the current situation
We end this game as too confusing for players
