Vess leads the way into the next room. Even at first glance, it is obvious that people have been living in this room for a long while. There are a number of straw pallets and even a pair of beds. Across the room, a man in embroidered red robes with a shaved and tattooed head is hurriedly stuffing items into a haversack. As he sees you, he spits out a curse and shouts for his minions to attack. A very strange looking group consisting of a knight in full plate armour, a slender, robed man, a zombie and two kobolds turn to face you.

It says Faerie Fire but the description is Earth Tremor, I’ll assume it’s the former otherwise let me know. You can either hit the cultist and the zombie or the kobolds, the knight and the red robed man

I’ll say that there ought to be candles/lanterns to keep the room in dim light
Chitkree, as you enter the room and light it up more with your spell. You notice a magic circle on the floor, close to where you’re standing.

The cultist rushes forward and attacks Chitkree, but you block his blow.

Chitkree targeted the area around the kobolds, the knight and the red robed man with faerie fire

Didnt realize we were that close. Any chance Chitkree can use BA disengage and move back this round. The idea was to get this spell into effect the hold back this fight till the benefits of the FF are not critical

I'd like to see map before I go. My impression was that most of the party were more than 30 feet away from the corner when Vess darted in and wouldn't be able to reach combat area.
i.e. I've announced Zrukz hides behind shoulders and with
[ +- ] 30 feet movement I can't reach point to see cobat

Sorry, was finishing up a project yesterday so I haven't had time to post

The previous combat ended until Vess entered the following room. But I'll let everyone decide where they think their character would be, ie whether you think they would charge in or whether they would hang back

Let me know if you think your position is wrong. So far Chitkree, Aramil & Vess has acted, Chitkree would you have acted differently on knowing the layout? In that case I'll let you redo your turn

I am mostly fine as is. Chitkree would stay close to the wall but that wouldn't affect the attack.
I was just surprised when I immediately got attacked and thought everyone might be in melee range with one move.

Aramil, you put an arrow deep into the shoulder of the red robed man before Zrukz utters a spell and blows some sand in his direction. The two kobolds immediately collapses…and as the blood starts to spill onto the floor the red robed man also falls to the floor asleep.

Okay, it was more afternoon than morning, but I'll resolve the rest of the round. I decided that you target the cultist since he's more of the immediate threat at this point
Pierce as the cultist starts to fight with Chitkree, you coolly and calmly put a crossbow bolt through his head.

The knight looks around at the fallen man in the red robes and decides to drop to his knees and shake him awake.

Augustine rushes forward and engages the zombie, slashing across its stomach. Meanwhile, the red robed man gets up, takes a few steps, envelops himself in silvery mist and in the blink of an eye, teleports over to the circle of silver runes on the floor and
after muttering a single word, is enveloped in a blinding flash of green light. When your eyes clear, the man is nowhere to be seen.

The zombie takes an attack against Augustine, but he checks the blow. Cassyt is shaking in anger as she screams "No longer will you profane this place with your presence!" and she calls down a sacred flame on the knight. The knight, still off balance after just getting back up to standing, screams in pain as it singes her armour.

So which of the enemy are outlined in Faerie Fire? Attacks against them have advantage as of last round as it was the first thing to happen. Obviously the sleeping kobolds are not much of a thread but still . . .

I forgot to roll dex saves for them, of course there's advantage on the kobolds anyway.

Kobold 2 and the knight both got hit with faerie fire and you get advantage on attacks on them
