as Vice recovers from the sound, he looks at the headless skeleton with something like pity. "I'd tell you to stay down, but you're clearly not listening." he says before cutting away at it.

Vice’s strike hits hard, but the fumbling skeleton staggers out of the way of the second attempt.

Standing close to the heat of the sphere, the smell of smoking bone fills the chamber once more. Unsure of the source, the skeleton closest to 37 throws his fists wildly around him.

The headless corpse in front of Vice tries to figure out where the blades came from, also throw random punches.

Both hit nothing but the dusty air.

Watching SheK decides this Skeleton need to be reduced and cast out of this room. She pounds on it hard.

She attacks with a one handed warhammer advantage attack on Skeleton 5 and Extra attack on it. Both hit with 26 & 24 respectively doing 21 bludgeoning damage & 4 psychic damage for total of 25 damage. She continues to concentration on faerie fire.

The skeleton splinters to pieces and the remains are sent tumbling down the hall, joining the growing pile of bones there.

Peldan, being of no use with the obelisks, returned to using the flaming Sphere he'd conjured to assault the undead. He followed that up with a heaping helping of eldritch energy for good measure.
OOC:
Bonus: move Flaming Sphere to E13 and have it ram the slumbering skeleton (D13).

Action: eldritch blast targeting skeleton at D13.

Most of the group was already dealing with the skeletons so Malak focused his attacks on the most probable source of the skeleton's continued fight. He took out his bow as he thought striking the obelisks with his sword might damage it and he was better at repairing arrows than swords. Taking aim at the largest crack he could see he fired an arrow at that Obelisk hoping the wedge of the arrow, if it hit its mark, might serve to crack it wide open.

Peldan’s sphere slams into the skeleton as his eldritch energy returns the headless creature into a pile of bones.

Malak’s arrow strikes the obelisk solidly, but only causes the crack to grow a little.

Making sure he places his Shatter spell effectively, 37 will again try to damage the obelisks and -- hooefully! -- put these skeletons to final rest.

37’s thunder once more echoes throughout the chamber. The cracks spread a little, but not as much as he expects. The pair are starting to show signs of weakness and a faint green glow can be seen through the fissures. 37 studies the growing cracks as the heat from the sphere gets uncomfortable.

The slightly smoking heap of bones, sit nearby. The faint sound of clacking teeth and the trapped skeleton can still be heard in the crypts.

Sorry for the delay. It’s been a busy weekend.

If 37 moves to C11, he can avoid the heat. Or I’ll need a DEX save.

Vice uncovers his ears, saying a bit louder than he realized "Ok, I guess we have to destroy those things. I'll take a stab at it. Especially if it will stop the skeletons, and 37's thunder blast from rattling the room" and hurls two chakram into the cracks.

As Vice throws his first chakram, it ricochets off with no effect. Perhaps, not thrown hard enough. He then throws the eerily green Envy. It too, bounces off without obvious damage. 37 is watching intently, he notices the glowing within its cracks, flashes ever so faintly.

Easily burnable SheK takes her dear time to forcibly scoot the skeleton bones in the close by hallway further down from this cursed room just in case of some of them happen to start rising. Her ears are ringing as she has been blasted twice with loud noise. She is sure anything around here will know of our approach now. She is on her guard.

With the floor swept clear, the chamber sits in the unsettling sounds of trapped, undead skeleton and skulls, in their tombs. Outside the room, the hallway sounds eerily quiet.

Peldan’s glowing orb still sits above where SheK had swept out their bony foe.

With the last of the bones tossed from the room, you’re out of initiative for now.

Perhaps his knowledge of runes, perhaps his upbringing, perhaps it was the light from within that flared as his gnome companion’s ring impacted the obelisk. Perhaps all three. Regardless, Malak recognizes the magical resistance that is slowing their damage to the artifacts through conventional means. The owlin knows magical attacks will work better.

Malak had watched as the others attacked the obelisks. He'd noticed something and relayed that information to the others, "If we're gonna destroy this thing anytime soon I'd suggest those without magical means of attacking them step out of the way and let those who do have at it... they appear to have a resistance to physical damage."

Not having any means of magical attacks, Malak stepped back out of the way, keeping his eyes instead, open and wary of any danger that might threaten those working to destroy the magical artifacts.
