Forest encounter

Kenjidor dashed towards the creatures, blades ready to strike even though his heart wasn't in it. He felt the divine blessing from Seelah, but when he saw the creatures take the eldritch blasts in pain, his resolve faltered. The creatures may simply be protecting their territory. It's his own party that's trespassing, like interlopers out for violence. These creatures did not deserve this.

Hopeful that the attacks would frighten them off, and that his companions had the situation handled, Kenjidor instead moved to seek out the fey who were their intended target.
OOC:
Kenjidor moves up another 30ft, so he's within 10ft of Enemy 1, but he stops there and simply focuses on looking around

Jerinvar's inner turmoil persisted, a battle waged within his heart. He understood that some of his allies held reservations about taking the lives of these creatures, and despite his own disdain for such monstrosities, he respected their convictions. While he remained prepared to deliver a lethal blow if circumstances demanded it, for now, he sought to employ a different approach—to intimidate and drive them away. With a renewed sense of purpose, he shifted his focus towards the second feline, determined to assert his dominance.

Drawing upon his connection with Hadar, Jerinvar summoned the eldritch energy once more, allowing it to surge through his veins. The crackling power coalesced into two potent beams that shot forth with relentless speed. The air crackled with arcane might as the eldritch blasts cut through the atmosphere, leaving behind a trail of ethereal energy that shimmered in their wake. The sheer force and intensity of the attack resonated through the surroundings, as if the fabric of reality itself quivered in response to their power.

Jerinvar's gaze remained fixed upon his target, his determination unyielding. In this moment, he sought not to end a life, but to assert his presence and deter further aggression. The eldritch beams were a display of his unwavering resolve, a warning to the feline monstrosity that he was not to be trifled with. As the crackling energy surged towards its intended destination, Jerinvar held his breath, waiting to witness the effect of his formidable assault.
OOC:

OOC:
Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with your eldritch blast, you can reduce that creature's speed by 10 feet until the end of your next turn.

And I did move it 20

OOC:

Seelah brandishes a javelin and moves up thirty feet. With Helmite strength, Seelah tosses said-javelin at the nearest feline foe!

Atlas keeps running towards one of the pretty snakey kitties. "Come here! You are so cute! I just want to snuggle you."
OOC:
Dashing towards one of them.

Both creatures make some strange high sound, then turn around and dash away.
Good job, we should have scared them away Bajaz relaxes.
OOC:
I would like you to do your turns in any order right now and if neither want to attack we call it end of combat but feel free to keep fighting.

Kenjidor 50-60 feet away from creatures, one creature still dizzy
Seelah&Atlas 70-80 feet
Bajaz Pen, Jerinvar a bit more than 120

Pin shifts his position to gain some cover while using Silent image to expand and thicken the foliage he is hiding in so that he is hidden from all angles. Meanwhile his familiar invisibly circles around the area searching for any other figures or threats.

With the threat seemingly running away, Kenjidor stays hidden, keeping his eyes on the lookout for any new threat. They've yet to locate the fey.

Please post your PC next combat turn in any order, not waiting for other players.

Atlas stops and waves good bye to the fleeing creatures. "Nice to meet you!"
Nov 15, 2023 1:17 am
Jerinvar, too, breaks off his assault of the feline monstrosities. As much as he would have preferred to hunt them down and end their very existence, he had both a duty and a responsibility to remain on the task that was currently at hand.

Our turami paladin "(snickers)" quietly at Atlas’ comment, smiles at her friend, and joins in gauntleted waving goodbye.

Seelah looks back to Bajaz, then gazes at her friends, and says, "So, where might this FEY be that we’re looking for?" She quickly moves to retrieve her javelins. My aim is better than I thought it would be, she thinks to paladinic self!

Our turami paladin then bows her head in intense concentration.
OOC:
