There is about 40 days worth of perishables in here, and 10 days worth of emergency "iron rations". Each and every one of you can easily grab enough food to last you a few days.

Following Xharin's example, Magoldor grabs some rations, leering at the cowering woman as he does so.
OOC:
Any sacks or similar lying around that we can use?
Oct 4, 2016 6:12 pm
You find a couple of large and empty flour sacks that haven't been thrown into the fire just yet.

"What do we do about her? Obviously we can't leave her here to alert the guards as soon as we walk away, but I am not actually a huge fan of murder..." she says this as she pointedly looks away from the corpse on the floor.
Oct 4, 2016 6:23 pm
I make sure to step around the blood. This sort of raw physical violence is distasteful to me, but sometimes it is necessary to get a point across and as long as it doesn't alert anyone to our presence what does it matter? "Then we use her in our escape. Either as a human shield, or to lure the guards to us."
Oct 4, 2016 8:22 pm
Having sated his hunger as well as his righteous wrath for the time being, Magoldor starts to get his focus back. His incarceration and torture at the hands of the Mitrans had quite unhinged him but he is now beginning to get his bearings back, all praise be to Asmodeus!

The warpriest looks down at the cook he has slain and clucks his tongue. What a waste. A thrall is far more useful than a corpse. He turns to the blubbering woman and points his warhammer at her. "You. Betray us, and your death will be painful and slow. Do as I command, and no harm will come to you. I swear this by the Dark Lord Asmodeus. Forget Mitra. He has abandoned you. Your life is in my hands now."

Harrison quietly busies himself packing provisions into a sack, focusing on his task, and processing the information gathered from the terrified chef. A hostage would be useful, he thought and prepared himself for the next steps out of the prison.
OOC:
Harrison is helping himself to supplies, and mentally preparing himself for what he assumes will be a combat scenario.

Everyone has prepared themselves as best they can, given the circumstances. The serving girl, who has since passed out from hysterics, is picked up and carried over Grumblejack's shoulder.

Where yous wanna go next?
Oct 7, 2016 2:37 pm
"I say we pay our esteemed host Blackerly a visit."
Oct 7, 2016 4:52 pm
"I think that we should just leave as soon as possible. I'd like to kill that bastard as much as you would, but I don't want to get recaptured in the process."
Oct 7, 2016 5:00 pm
"The King of Hell will not suffer that worm to draw breath. This servant of Asmodeus will not suffer it!" Magoldor proclaims, thumping his chest with the fist closed around the unholy symbol. "A blood debt must be repaid."
Oct 8, 2016 2:37 am
"Not just Blackerly, who does he work for? We must find out and truly discern who the proper target must be for revenge."
Oct 8, 2016 7:04 am
"Yesss" Magoldor nods emphatically. "We shall see who jerks that dog's leash."

The faithful shall wash their hands with the blood of the unbelievers,
And the mark of the few will become the mark of many.
The day stars shall fall from the sky, and the wicked shall herald the coming of the Prince of Darkness.

"We'll have to make it quick. You are free to go and kill whoever you wish. We'll wait for you outside the gatehouse and keep watch. If anything goes wrong, you run and we meet at the bridge. Think the three of you (I indicate our ogre friend, Harrison, and Magoldor) can manage that?"
Oct 10, 2016 3:05 pm
Alyndra taps her foot impatiently, "Seems like a waste of time to me. Just another risk that we shouldn't be taking."
Oct 10, 2016 5:41 pm
"Come with us."
OOC:
Harrison is trying to convince the others. And yes, my aspiring despot has a -1 in Charisma.

"Do what you want. I'll meet you on the other side when you've completed your fool's task. I for one value my freedom more than vengeance. Vengeance is worth nothing if we're dead."
Oct 10, 2016 7:08 pm
OOC:
Rolling for something...
Grumblejack looks at this pissing contest with a bit of amusement, before he finally pipes up.

"As much as Oi wan' out o' 'ere, Oi be owin' dat Blackerly a thrashin'. Oi'll help Magold'r 'n Harr'son thrash dat little bastar'."
