You leave the ship and head across the massive Lola Curich spaceport. People and droids move rapidly through the many hallways that connect the landing pads. Droid luggage carts and moving sidewalks only add to the layers of motion as you work your way towards the exit. Eventually, you find your way into the line for the Security check point.

OOC:

Anyone hiding weapons will need a Stealth check against a Red+Purple to pass between the security guards.

Creds heads through the check first. "Lovely spaceport you have here!" he says to the guard running the body scan. Best to keep the guards engaged and distracted to help the others get their weapons through. "I'm not entirely familiar with Lianna, so I was hoping you could give me some recommendations of places I might want to see before I leave, preferably within a speeder's ride from the spaceport..."

Hoping to offer unskilled assistance to those who are trying to smuggle weapons by distracting the guards (+blue to their checks).

After making sire there isn't a separate entrance for Droids, AD-hoc will head through security.

So Stealth and I'm taking a blue for the holdout blaster and brass knuckles because they add a black to attempts to find them (so kind of the reverse) and I'll chuck on a cheeky one for Creds's distraction

That was a spectacular roll. 😁 Yeah, the 4 advantage would get you clear. To your point, I've lost countless pocket knives while on vacation. Just out of the blue their swinging those detectors around and blip, in the trash goes another knife.

Once out of the spaceport, your greeted by the fairly clean metropolitan city of Lianna. There is a steady hustle of beings coming and going. The streets are full of speeders though the sky seems clear of traffic. Its a short trip to Lianna Light Freight by taxi. Once inside, you're greeted by the reception droid.

"Oh good, customer's."

Creds takes a moment to respond to the droid, as taken as he is by the large city. "Oh, uh, how'd'ya do there? Griflock Mocredo, and these are my associates." He gestures toward the rest of the group. "So we're not exactly customers, ya see. We're here as LLF employees. Looking for the auction."

The droid seems to stare in your direction for a few seconds before tapping a button on kiosk in front of it. You can faintly hear a buzzer from the back of the office. Shortly a Sullastan appears from the back of this, mostly empty office.

"Niic Kenria at your service, you say your here about the auction?"

'Well pleased to meet you Niic,' says Ken, putting out his hand in greeting. 'We're here to pick up some bargains at the auction and to have a good time while we're at it.' He gives a not-entirely-convincing friendly grin.

"As we are talking business, will the lots be available for inspection beforenthe auction?" AD-hoc ask, hoping to skip pleasantries and get to work. People were always breaking for meals.

Nice shakes his head at Ad-hoc's question.
"The Customs Imps want this to be a no hassle blind auction. No body poking at the crates ahead of time. The 20 crates are being positioned in the yard by the Customs Office today. They'll be behind the fence and probably under guard until 8 tomorrow morning. Then the gate will open and bidding begins. No one is supposed to open the crates until they take delivery. "

"Hmm," Creds says, rubbing his hairy jowls with his thumb and forefinger. "That puts a kink in our plan to scan the crates for what Reom's after." He then asks the Sullustan, "Any reason we can't just bid on the whole lot?"

"The auction is supposed to make the most money for the seller. By selling the crates one at a time, it lets the auctioneer whip up some frenzy. Then the buyers get stupid, they'll bid ridiculous amounts. Plus, there are rumours the there's lost treasure from beyond the rim. If someone starts bidding too aggressively for a particular crate, others may jump in. It'll be a delicate game."
