Chapter 10 - Is it a heist, if we bought it?
Security
"No one move." Multiple officers pour from each speeder and they head towards the gathered auction goers.

Security
AD-hoc, you were able to approach the gate and were mostly ignored during the sweep. The Auction employee didn't react until the Security officers left.
Once the officers leave, your left with about 20 beings standing on the street looking a little disconcerted. To your best guess, there may be 6 or 7 groups left to bid on the auction.
The 'auctioneer' opens the gate and waves everyone in. "This is going to be interesting." He mumbles, mostly to himself.

Seeing how uncomfortable the other bidders are with a Rodian present, Ken decides to use that to his advantage and drops back from the others, drifting nearer to the other groups, looking for their reactions, trying to see if they have anything hidden, any hidden knowledge as to what's in the containers.
"Alright, now that we've had our morning excitement, let's see if we can get these crates sold. As announced we have twenty shipping crates, all from a lost Separatist ship recently discovered just beyond the rim. The salvage crews packed these crates at random and the Freightmaster doesn't have the time or interest to sort them. Do I have an opening bid for 2000 credits on crate one?"

I'll use Force Points on the first and fourth rolls to account for those failed rolls on Meph's part.
Lector's Outfit adds a boost to each roll.
Taking a boost on the first roll for sympathy for leaning into the injury/bandages. Ignore that last blue if this isn't OK.
Auctioneer's scarf adds +1 Success, +1 Advantage to each roll.

Letting the first crate go was the obvious ploy, especially since two was one of the target crates. Four just kind of fell into your lap as two of the bidders had a staring match and let the time expire. Ken won six and seven confusingly easy, his bravado temporarily throwing off the other bidders. But nine went to a Neimoidian who apparently decided Creds was overplaying his injury.
Creds adjusted his strategy and won twelve with ease. Fourteen looked to be in the bag, but Ken noticed the Neimoidian conversing with his associate and felt something was up. He raised the bid and the confused Neimoidian, who was sure by now they were working together. He just laughed, let them out bid each other. Maybe it was the lateness of the day, maybe it was his skill, but Creds seemed to have found his rhythm with the competition. Sixteen and Eighteen were his with little effort and even he made a small introductory bid on Twenty before letting the Sullustan win one.
Once the paper work is done, a quick comm to Niic Kenria at LLF and he dispatches a pair of cargo skiffs to pick up the crates to bring back to the office.
