From the underbrush you hear voices calling back and forth in sylvan. The quick remarks are vaguely familiar but to rapid and sharp accented for any but the most familiar to understand. The rapid shouts from tiny voices bounce around you all.
[ +- ] Sylvan
Though the voices move around you neither see nor hear the figures arguing around. Though their voices vary from almost laughing to argumentative you but you get the sense they are disappointed and there is a fierce debate on what to do next.

Arc listens to those voies, he recognizes they are speaking un Sylvan but he doesn't understand it. Nevertheless, after hearing Skeeve, he understand in general what is going on. Thus he grabs two pieces of wood from the ground, and hits them together to start a rythm, and while playing 'woods' in a tribal beat, he states dancing in a rather comic way.

Come on, everybody join the dance!

Looking to Blornvid and Skeeve while pointing at Arc, what's he doing? Ealdwig starts to giggle at the "dance".

"I believe that someone's messin' with his head."

Kaarik is intrigued at the dance, however since Arc seems really sure of himself, he grabs two pieces of wood of his own and start to awkwardly follow Arc's step.

Doing so, he turns his head toward the other with questioning face.

After hearing their conversation, Skeeve says in Sylvan, "Trees moving in the wind is a beautiful sight. We are not here to ruin anyone's fun, we'd rather join in." He is trying to pile on the charm.

To Arkmenos, he whispers, "Keep that pendant hidden!"

Continuing laughing what is going on here? Skeeve, who are you talking to?

Sprite
Arcs impromptu festivities that Kaarik joins in, though somewhat hesitantly, draws the fey out to join in. Soon Arc and Kaaric are twirling and spinning with about a dozen tiny fey. The music is added to by pipes, sinding, and bells on the dancers. The sight and sound tugs at your body and mind pulling you to join in. Those that are watching without can either join willingly or roll 3 ST each vs being drawn into the fey dance. Skeeve has advantage if he resists.

Blornvid nods his head but can't seem to resist these shiny, happy people. No one is more surprised than him when he starts to do a jig.

Ealdwig, seeing the fey that are even smaller than him, smiles and laughs and joins in the fun. Common Blornvid. I know you can do it. You've got to have some moves, I've seen you in a fight.

Arc smiles with surprise as he sees all those fey appearing, and even joining his improvisation!

Great rythm!! Hey, I love those pipes and bells!! of course, he speaks in common language and hopes the fey will understand him as he smiles and looks intently everyone (specially the fey) and raises the speed of the beat... now almost to a hectic dance.

Keep up! Keep up! It's all about the fun!

Most fey should be a bit tired and very happy soon, he thinks.

The dancing leads the party with fey out of the woods and along the path through another field with some more dinosaurs. After several minutes of this you find yourselves in front of the library as the fey disperse, vanishing from sight.
OOC:
still need a save or some dance moves from Skeeve

Haha, it worked even better than I expected!
Arc waves the fey goodbye Thanks a lot!! See you soon!

Is everybody ok? Anyone feeling dizzy?

Arc sees around, recognizes the library, and draws the area map in the ground with one of the sticks. We are back here... We left the residencial one in chaos... We thought about going west...

Have we being to that watehouse to the west? I guess we could have a look at it, and then continue north to the Plaza, what do you say?

In response to Arc's question, Ealdwig is baffled, dizzy? No. Why would you ask that?

Skeeve tries to resist, but success or fail, he will join the dance. (He doesn't mind the dancing. He just doesn't like the control. 🙂)

EDIT: Accidentally rolled that with Focus, which isn't the case. So, he failed. But, again, he was joining in either way.

As the sounds of the fey music fades and you look at the Remnant, which looks much as the others, you not that Skeeve and Blornvid continue to shuffle and tap. As hard as they try they can not sit still. I'm have the more the try to be still and quiet the worse the effects become. Attempts at silence results in then humming, whistling, and unfolding outbursts of if song. Inactivity results in tapping, thumping, and twirling.

Skeeve is familiar with fey antics and knows the spell will likely fade by sunset. Hopefully... Till then the best way to handle it is to just go with it as best they can.

Looking at Skeeve and Blornvid being more happy than usual, Kaarik proposes to rest until they feel better.

To Arc, he asks: "How did you know what would happen when you started dancing? It was amazing!"
Apr 18, 2024 9:33 pm
Yeah, that was great. How did you know?
