Elke rushes forward, keen to end this quickly. She sneers at the creature, frustrated by its seemingly easy brush offs to their attacks. She charges forward, axe held stiff in her grip and raises it angrily.

(3) + 2 = 5

Elke expends a huge amount of energy in two strong attacks against the Brumelurk but to no avail. Both attacks miss and the Brumelurk emerges unscathed.
OOC:
Haguk, you're up next to conclude the round.
Oct 3, 2016 5:32 am
Haguk growls as he swings his sword one more time.

Rolls

Melee Attack - (1d20+5)

(14) + 5 = 19

Damage (if hit), if miss: 1 damage - (1d10+4)

(7) + 4 = 11

Haguk's sword sings as it swings through the air and makes contact with the Brumelurk's midriff, rendering a huge gaping wound in the creature's side, glistening with putrid green blood and entrails. The wind finally looks to be out of the Brumelurk's sails.
OOC:
The Brumelurk is now staggered.

Blackstar, can you roll initiative please so I can decide the order for the next round.
Oct 3, 2016 12:29 pm
OOC:
*Rolling initiative twice (Quick to Fight)
*Randomly determining spell category: 1-2 is attack, 3-4 is defense, 5-6 is iconic.
*Spell category is Attack, so rolling for random Warp Effect.

(17) + 8 = 25

Haguk feels a chill spread all through his body as the tendrils of mist burrow through his eyes and ears into his central nervous system.
OOC:
10 damage to Haguk.

Domitius, you and your skeletal backing band are up next.
Oct 3, 2016 2:47 pm
OOC:
I have a spell that is only usable when an enemy gets down to 5HP or less. I'm guessing Brumelurk isn't there yet, but could you confirm?

Not yet. I'll notify you when that's the case though.

Domitius yelled at his minions to press their attack before reaching into his cloak and pulling out a sharpened bone splinter. He threw it at the monstrosity.

The three skeletons continued to hack and slash at the brumelurk, its green blood leaking from its wound down over them.
OOC:
Quick action to instruct the Mooks to attack (thereby granting their use of the Escalation Die) then Standard action to make a ranged attack

Sorry. I must have had 'roll blindness' and didn't see your damage roll in the post.

Xanxus snarls rushing in again behind his shield his mace whistling through the air, "You lot can't let these undead allies take all the credit can you!"
OOC:
Fight From the Front triggers, Crit Range drops back to normal.
Remnant sent a note to Remnant

Rolls

Basic Melee Attack (crit19+) - (1d20+4)

(20) + 4 = 24

Damage - (2d6+2)

(61) + 2 = 9

Command Points - (1d3)

(1) = 1

The Brumelurk disappears under the stramash of bodies and bones which is Domitius and his collection of assorted animated henchskeletons. As the mob steps back from the Brumelurk it teeters on the brink of collapse before gathering itself together again. It looks like a good hit might finish it off though.
OOC:
Xanxus then Elke.
Oct 3, 2016 5:01 pm
OOC:
OK, so we got a bit out of sequence there.
Xanxus vanquishes the Brumelurk with a solid blow. The creature falls to it's knees and the wisping tendrils of mist which escape from it's wounds appear to signify it's demise.
OOC:
It's dead. Well, as dead as something that was already dead can be.
Oct 3, 2016 5:07 pm
Chest still heaving Xanxus looks around, "Where's the old coot?" he inquires his black mace still up and ready.
Oct 3, 2016 5:29 pm
OOC:
Initiative order is no longer required to act.
The mist closes in around you and the Brumelurk's prone form. Your eyes turn to the misty townscape ahead of you and your attention is drawn to the wails of Amalia's mother who seems to be ahead of you in the mist and who you lost track of during your struggle with the Brumelurk.

Her cries of "Amalia" are almost drowned out by the slamming of shutters and bolting of doors which sound like they precede her as she wanders alone through the mists searching for her missing child.
Oct 3, 2016 6:27 pm
Blackstar chuckles softly at some unspoken jest. He looks at each of his companions in turn. They all look as strange to him as he does to them. He looks up and down the misty street. This is certainly not the first time he's suddenly found himself somewhere unexpected.
