So to recap quick start rules can be found Here. We can talk about time setting for the Evergut here too. What era do you want the world to be in when it was swallowed, I'm fond of Renaissance (opinion coloured by the oneshot game) but I think a number of different times work.

I'll put places for you guys to write your character sheets soon, but until then just spit ball ideas.

Well I would have to come up with character ideas after era. Renaissance would be interesting. I'm almost always okay with medieval. I doubt far future/ sci fi would fit to well. If I had to pick one for my vote I think I would submit modern. Like today's world.

Also thanks for DM'ing this! I think it sounds unlike anything I've played to im eager to try it.

Modern culture but no black powder weapons.

So it is suggested that the world pre swallowing be modelled after the late Byzantine period. But we could say that the pre world was a bit older. I'm uncomfortable progressing it all the way up to the modern era, as the prevalence of modern technology would either require serious home rewind on my part ( something I don't want to do in a game I only just picked up) or some serious hand waving as to why all modern tech was destroyed beyond use but there's still salvageables in the depths of the Beast.

And remember, we are several generations in after the swallowing. No one alive remembers an uneaten world. You should be able to start spitballing ideas as to what roll your character plays even before I start garnishing the world with relics of the I swollowed world.

I wanna play a agile character. Dual melee weapons. Friends with anyone, but family first no matter what.

I think I wouldnt mind playing a mix of doctor (healer) and standard combat. so I could be a sort of combat medic.
For personality, I am tossed between a cheerful jokester and a well-meaning coward.

So we do! Starting putting characters together. Just chuck all the relevant info into the custom character sheet and submit them.

Okay so we are going with what era? There seems to be some ideas thrown around but no set thing. Late Byzantine period is akin to early medieval times correct?
