At 3rd level this character, with silver Tongue from College of Eloquence, will have Persuasion and Deception checks with a minimum result of 18...20 come 4th level.
@Smiley

what level do you expect this game to reach?

See, that's why I decided a Sorcerer wasn't needed. Lmao

Actually, I may delay bard 3 until next level, going:

Rogue 1/Bard 2

This would allow an additional skill proficiency, proficiency with thieves tools, use of Theives' Cant, and SA +1d6 to give me a bit more usefulness in combat.

I hope this campaign to go to high levels Not quiet to 20 but maybe that high.

Just remember, just because you roll high to try and presuade or lie to someone doesn't always mean you will get the effect you want.
Some people can not be stubborn or not able to do something you wish.

Thats when you use "Intimidation" hehe!
May 11, 2024 9:09 pm
He'll have Intimidate as well, but won't benefit from Silver Tongue unfortunately :)

This is a great example of what I mean.

Lol I'd never attempt to do anything like that 😂😂😂

At best, request some sort of reasonable discount.

Funny video though :)

We have an Arcane Cleric, Fiend Warlock, And a rogue/Bard.

How do you all know each other? You have been traveling with each other for a while.
You were just attacked in the woods and are taking refuge in boarded up house.

Well, Jorah is nomadic, so... he can easily have ran into either of you randomely. He has a bit of the wanderlust, and is pretty good at the great outdoors.

Perhaps our fiend warlock has trouble staying in one place because people inevitably find out what he is?

Traveling physician!

Question. Would this apply only to creatures i personally kill, or will it also work with things my familiar kills? I have taken pact of the chain.

Dark One's Blessing
Starting at 1st level, when you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your warlock level (minimum of 1).
May 14, 2024 2:20 pm
According to RAW It would be only when you kill something.

I need to figure out how I want it to work because we do Group Initiative.
I tend to move damages around to be the most efficient for the party.

A few things about Temp HP to remember.
It doesn't stack.
If you kill 3 creatures in the same turn it would only be 6THP not 18THP.
You also loose all THP at the of a Long Rest.

Yup all clear on that! thanks for confirming... i hate for things to go one way when you expected it to go another

Dr Crow coming to life!

Warlock Patron - Bel Lord of the 9 Hells

Dr. Thaddeus Crow, a physician of mediocre skill, labored in the dimly lit back rooms of the city’s obscure clinics. His ambition, however, burned brighter than any surgical lamp. Thaddeus yearned for more than mundane healing; he craved immortality—a secret whispered in ancient texts and forbidden scrolls.

One moonless night, a shadowy figure materialized in his study. Its eyes glowed like dying embers, and its voice slithered into Thaddeus’s mind."Dr. Crow," it hissed, "...your ambitions are wasted on this mortal realm. I can offer you power beyond your wildest dreams. In exchange, you will serve me. Your patients, your oaths—they matter no more. What say you?"

Thaddeus hesitated, torn between healing and damnation. The fiend’s offer promised not only mastery over life and death but also the elusive elixir of immortality. With a drop of blood, he sealed the pact, and his hands transformed. No longer clumsy, they moved with precision, stitching together life and secrets.

Now, as the Crow-Doctor, Thaddeus wields the fiend’s fire. His clinic teems with desperate souls seeking cures, unaware of the price—their life force drained to fuel his magic. Redemption tugs at him, but shadows cling. The elixir awaits, and Thaddeus wonders: Can he break free, or is he forever bound to the fiend’s dark embrace?

A Traveling physician, a nomad and a psionic rogue/bard walk into a bar.

How did you three meet? Friends from the start? Happenstance?
I would be better if the three of you knew each other before meeting in the woods.

Jorah was traveling about doing some healing. Ran into Dr. Crow saw that some of his healing methods were unconventional.
You questioned him about it started learning from each other a little?

Where does Bard/Rogue come in to this?
Bard/Rogue finds you patients/victims? Finds/steals/aquires medicine the two of you need?
May 15, 2024 1:56 pm
Maybe the rogue part of the bard bit off more than he could chew and needed a bit of healing.
May 15, 2024 5:28 pm
As far as the pc's common thread how we met....can run this through an AI and see what it comes up with. If everyone could give a short description of their character, maybe personal goals and what not ill write up a promp and see what comes up!
