Please let me know if the DM didn't come through to you about the NPC character stats. Also, I have updated game details so you can submit a second character now if it makes it easier for you. Just including it in your character's dialogue works great though!

Found the DM. Didn't Show up in the messages at first 🤷‍♀️. Can I change the spells? He seems to have ... 3 basic ones, although he is lvl 9?

Apologies, but I'm leaving the game. I'm feeling really demotivated after the holidays and am unable to pull my weight in the game or do the rest of you the justice you require in play. I thought I could get myself going again, but I've failed to do so. I'm sorry.

If @soises and @Adrasthea are OK, I'm going to speed up the final fight to Scene 5 and we can have Scene 6 be an epilogue instead. I would like us to have a good finish. ^.^

Is there a reason why we don't see the DMG of Merton & Hindle?

After this round the sorcerer shouldn't be that much of a challenge. (At least I hope so.*G*) But where is Pouncy looking exactly?

I mixed up the damage and hit chance so the damage Hindle and Merton did should be in the post with the first checks for the sorcerer.

I'll include this description in the next post in Scene 5, but Pouncy is now looking out the same window into the sky Ervan was at, northwest. The window looks over the valley and the mountain range surrounding it. There are caves dotted throughout the mountains and one particularly large mountain overlooking the valley.

I'll try to make a final battle map this week to help you guys fight too.

Please remember my spell. This seems an awful lot (standing up, trying to teleport, summoning the skeletons, ...) to do for someone under the this effect:

On a failed save, the target takes 3d6 psychic damage, and it can’t take a reaction until the end of its next turn. Moreover, on its next turn, it must choose whether it gets a move, an action, or a bonus action; it gets only one of the three

And he rolled a 1 on his save. ;)

If he doesn't try to teleport, I will try - as my reaction-to counterspell the summoning.

Oh yes, the sorcerer guy cannot do more than stand up so it is the party's turn. The skeletons appearing was the lair action of summoning minions, but if I didn't use that correctly, I can certainly undo it.

Lair Actions are - I am sorry to have to admit to - not stopped by the Mind Whip.

He must have taken 75+ points of DMG by now. You said that he is pretty much done. How is he looking now? *g* A 5 HP, or more of a 15+ HP kinda situation? *fingers crossed to get a good answer*

And Merton gets his Sneak Attack, because Fianna is standing next to Evan. Is/was this enough? =)

I'd like to know who is still standing before acting. Can you tell me what the situation is?

Sounds good! Sorry I wasn't able to get posts up this weekend, but we'll move on today! Yes, let me roll for the sneak attack and see if it's enough. If not, Brickowsky's attack will definitely do it and then you guys can decide how you'd like to prepare for the flapping wings coming in the next turn.

Well - thanks a lot Quilltid! You have been an awesome DM! Showered us with magic items and keept it lighthearted, funny and first of all: GOING! You even remembered Roaring Kitty's love for tendies! *g*

I am very happy that we finished this adventure, although we have lost a few teammates over the weeks. As is typical for a play by post game. The adventure was great and a good choice. A cool one-shot just as promised. The Lego "building" part was very helpfull as well. Especially the raft across the river.

I think we avoided a lot of fights through building, talking and rushing by. That felt great. For a moment I really was thinking about taking on Cinderhowl and still would love this fight, but therefore 2 more active players would be nice. And I like this ending even better.

Thank you so much soises and Adrasthea for sticking around until the end! I really enjoyed playing with everyone and loved the creative ideas you guys had: frying the spider, answering a riddle with your own riddle, rafting across the lake, building a walkway over the plants, and finally talking the dragon down! The characterization and role-play was amazing along with your animal companions! You really took to heart that you don't have to fight and beat everything up to keep the game and story going, a lot like real life. You definitely kept me on my toes and made my first DM experience a super fun one! I'll retire the game on Monday, but hope to see you guys around in future games! Sending good vibes to soises that you will one day get to have that epic dragon fight! I already will be seeing you Adrasthea in Stargate. ^.^
