The rats ran to the small shed like building that the party can’t see, Rangrim just saw them run behind the corner of the building (appears to be a barracks perhaps) that the group on the ground is approaching and that Kurt is trying the door of. https://i.imgur.com/xa9ExEB.jpegThe rats paths are the red lines. They were all moving toward the shed building.

Prepared Kurt will put all his weight onto the old door and totally force it open as he is positive it will take some force.

The door was not locked nor was it very hard to open so as you (Kurt) slam into is with your full force it whips open with a crash. Roll a dex save for me to see if you keep your feet, DC 7

The interior of this building reeks of mildew, and everything here is shrouded in dust. You see a stone fireplace, one window, and six sets of wooden bunk beds holding rotting, straw-filled mattresses. Lying atop four of the beds are shadowed unmoving forms.

LOL. DEX save. Not so nimble Kurt keeps his balance as the door surprisingly swings open easily.

Just a side sinister thought as Kurt has a handy torch. How nice would it work out if he was to aimlessly toss it on some of that ancient bedding that the soon to be undead comes from?

You can try and torch it but it might be catching more than you'd plan.
