I don't think you can choose to sneak attack on attack 2. If this was a live game, you would have had to decide when attack 1 hit if you would sneak attack before rolling attack 2, and you wouldn't know have known to hold sneak attack because 2 would have crit. I am not trying to sound mean, but I think the above logic is fair as to sneak attack would have been on attack 1 since 21 hits and that one was not a crit. If attack 1 had missed or was the crit, I would have had nothing to say. As such, I will ignore the last 4 dice rolled on that damage roll, as everything else is right so I'll go in order of rolled. As such, that damage roll is 28 not 43. still a lot, though.

Bold of you to assume a museum curator would fight skeletons with massive axes or men clad in armor made of skeleton wielding greatswords.

You really roll attacks one at a time around a table? Combat is the slowest part of the game. At my table, if you aren't rolling your attacks and getting everything handled while the person before you goes you're wrong.

But I see option 1 as the only real option that you listed.

Ok, it is 2 hits instead of 3, as the 3rd with disadvantage would have been 13 instead

BK2 casts hellish rebuke when Xha hits him.

SM4 shakes SM3, who then shakes BK1, who shakes BK3. BK3 elects not to shake the hounds, as they have been less than useful aside from shaking people awake. BK3 casts a bonus action spell and then swings twice at Travail with their greatsword. BK2, frightened, elects to cast Darkness after BK3 attacks.

Travail will take 19 damage if he does not cast shield.
Xha takes 11 fire damage.

Reminder: Unless you can see through magical darkness, you are blinded while in the area. You cannot see creatures inside nore can they see you. Attack are made with both advantage and disadvantage, so just a normal roll, and unless you take the hide action people can still hear where you are as you can them.

Quick question, how are you ruling using a familiars senses. Do i have to burn an action every round to maintain that or just an action when I 1st activate it?

the rules state you can only use a familiar's sight and hearing instead of your own if you use an action to do so until the start of your next turn. If you can quicken a spell you can use this action and still cast that other spell.

I try to go RAW as much as I can here. For example, I think what is happening with the darkness is odd, that you shouldn't have advantage attacking an enemy that can't see you if you also can't see them but Raw that is how it is designed to work
