Greetings! I'm Wanderer and I'm pretty new to the whole TTRPG experience as a whole. I just recently got into this medium looking for something new and different from text-based roleplay where I could flex my creative muscles. Not that I ever stopped: I have 4 years of the aforementioned literate text roleplay experience (and still ongoing!), but as far as TTRPGs themselves go, I'm a newbie! Currently I'm playing live weekly through Discord voice chat with a group, but I figured that I wanted to dip my toes in different methods as part of the learning experience (I also have a bit of trouble speaking and understanding English, so live sessions have been a bit challenging).
I'm usually the most active through Discord, but I'm not completely unfamiliar with forums. As for the systems I'd like to try out, I have an intense interest in Chronicles of Darkness and fantasy systems. I thought about playing DnD 5e or Pathfinder 2e, but I am worried about the combat focus these two seem to have. I recently got wind of one called 13th Age which seems similar but potentially less focused on combat and I would like to try it out as well.
As a final note, though, I would like to add that I'm pretty open to trying out other systems other than these. The thing about being a newbie is that everything seems exciting.
Anyways, nice to meet you all!
