Like Cass, none of the Star Vixen crew speak, though expressions vary. Who knows what the aviatrices might be thinking and feeling right now?
Maybe the return of Vivian proved death isn’t permanent on Lv.426. Is Vera alive? Did she go out in a blaze of glory? Or did she simply accept that there are moments in life that force you to choose, and once you make the choice, there’s no turning back.
Speaking of which—
—half a dozen machines emerge from the greenery!
Five of them are only three or four feet tall and made of rusty junk.
The sixth is a winged machine who towers over all of you as it crouches.
