Seeing that he can negotiate slowly to avoid the holes, he stalks toward the Shufflers, ready to crack some skulls.

Ham-Bone squeezes off another shot at one of the Casualies lurching in Claire's direction.

Shit.

Rolls

Shoot B - (1d10+2)

(4) + 2 = 6

Shoot R - (1d10)

(9) = 9

OOC:
Okay, sorry about the lack of response, this weekend totally threw me off. Let me resolve a couple of these.

Home Run: Let's resolve you first since I hadn't ruled on that when you had your turn. Your SPD is 3 so you could move 2 shambles closer to the mob on this turn without requiring a Athletics roll. So unless you say other wise, You are now 3 shambles from the mob, everyone else is 5.

Claire: So, giving Theo a command is going to be a Profession:Animal Handling roll. Assuming success, Theo could go out into the field and bark to get the mob's attention and peel off some. He's close to the ground, fast, and a dog, so the terrain is just not an issue for him. Just let me know which direction you want him to peel them off relative to you (i.e., away from you, to the left, the right? Whatever...

Also, giving Theo a command is your freebie action, if you want you could still take a ready action, which either moves you to the top of next round, or adds Potential to your roll next round.

Ham Bone: Your shot still misses :) Do me a favor and copy your Combat Reference from your last action and take off another charge from Rifle.

Hamish sent a note to WarDomo
Hamish says:

Hamish sent a note to Hamish

OOC:
If Theo is close to Ham, I want my dog to move closer to the mob but distract them in the opposite direction of Run. Not sure if that's left or right. Also, Claire takes the ready action for next round. :)

Rolls

Animal Handling - Black vs Red - (1d10+1, 1d10)

1d10+1 : (4) + 1 = 5

1d10 : (10) = 10

Oct 12, 2016 12:14 am
OOC:
Dude...the dice hate Claire.
Claire makes the hand signal she's worked on with Theo. He runs out towards the mob, but along the way gets distracted by a grasshopper and begins running after it instead.

OOC:
Not sure where we are in the initiative order. Is time for Ham-Bone to take another shot?
Oct 13, 2016 5:40 pm
The mob ambles towards Run and three of the Casualties stumble awkwardly into the grass.
OOC:
There is a mob of 5 casualties that are now two shambles from Run, the other three remain 3 shambles away.

sorry, thought I had updated it last time.

Initiative.

Round 2
Home Run - 6
Loan Shark - 6
Claire - 5
Casualties - 0

Round 3 -
Ham Bone - 9

Rolls

Terrain vs. Mob - (1d10)

(3) = 3

Oct 15, 2016 1:52 pm
OOC:
Waiting on either Run or Loan Shark's action
Oct 15, 2016 2:49 pm
Run is still moving slowly closer until in hitting distance.
Oct 15, 2016 4:21 pm
You are two shambles from them and could get there this turn.

Edit. Never mind you would still be one away but they would close the distance on their turn
Oct 15, 2016 4:23 pm
Shark is up
Oct 17, 2016 7:47 am
Sharks cowardly nature takes over and he moves into the the tall grass and tries to hide.
OOC:
So I want to stealth and add my potential, but I'm not trained in stealth, so roll black+2 v red or something else?
Oct 17, 2016 9:40 am
OOC:
It's a default roll, so let's make it 1d10 -2 and you're trying to roll less than or equal to your SPD potential.
Oct 17, 2016 9:49 am
OOC:
Ok...yes!

Rolls

Sneaky sneak? - (1d10-2)

(4) - 2 = 2

Oct 17, 2016 11:18 am
Loan Shark slips down in to the grass more deftly than you would have expected and puts a bit of distance between himself and the group.
OOC:
Claire's up
Oct 18, 2016 10:41 pm
Claire held in her frustration and attempted to guide Teddy to kite the mob away from Ham, though not to Loan. She tapped her thigh,"Ted, shh!" Her 'shh' was a distinct sound that Teddy knows like back of his front paw.
OOC:
Literally can't roll anything.

Rolls

Animal handling - B+1 vs R - (1d10+1, 1d10)

1d10+1 : (6) + 1 = 7

1d10 : (9) = 9

Oct 19, 2016 12:59 am
OOC:
Yeah, definitely frustrating.. Theoretically, a +1 should give you like a 60% chance of success if I remember correctly. Hopefully, the dice start going you're way
The mob continues moving forward toward Run and you hear limbs break as three more Casualties flop into the grass. The grass behind the mob rustles and shifts as the Casualties that fell previously crawl forward.
OOC:
There is a mob of two Casualties 2 shambles from Run and another 6 crawling through the grass 3 shambles away. Ham-Bone, you're up

Rolls

Terrain - (1d5)

(3) = 3

Oct 19, 2016 1:16 am
Take it easy. You've done this before, Ham-Bone says to himself. He levels his rifle at a Casualty near Run, holds his breath and squeezes off another shot. Hot damn!

Rolls

Shoot B - (1d10+2)

(8) + 2 = 10

Shoot R - (1d10)

(2) = 2

Oct 19, 2016 12:21 pm
The top of the head of one of the particularly squishy Casualties disappears in splat of black-red spray as Ham-Bone's bullet takes it out.
OOC:
All right, one standing C left and a group of 6 in the grass a shamble behind. Shark and Run, you guys are up.

Run: you can be in melee range with either group and attack this turn. Just FYI since we haven't done melee yet, you attack them as a group and they attack you as a group. You have one tactic and one twitch each turn. The tactic is your planned action on your initiative turn like an attack. A twitch is like a reflexive action that happens at any time like dodging a zombie attack. You also have the option of going Full Offense or Full Defense which swaps a tactic for a twitch or vice versa to allow you two attacks or two dodges in a turn.
