Chapter 6: Calamity Caves

Iroven takes a step to the side and lets loose with a vicious swing. It cuts into the creature’s wing, severely hurting it.

The one on the ledge strikes out at Haitith a couple of times before making a retreat. The first strike hits (9 damage), but the second misses.
OOC:
Stalker05: It is more hazardous. Stepping into the right have a chance of starting a landslide. You also could make an Attack of Opportunity vs blue from last round.

C1NDER: Yes, that would have turned it to a crit, still not enough to take out the gargoyle, but it looks a lot worse.

Tomas and Artesia is up.

As it thuds into the ground, it starts sliding down pulling scree with it. Luckily no one is standing on the unstable scree, but it makes a loud rumble, making it hard to hear anything else.

The woman sheaths her short-sword again. Picks up the crossbow and loads it.

Tomas is able to grapple the creature and it is stuck in place for the moment. The angle it’s held in, makes it hard for Tomas’ antlers to get enough momentum to do any damage.

It’s a similar situation with Artesia’s divine lance, as it hits the ground at its feet.

The creature tears out of Tomas’ grasp and strikes the barbarian twice in anger. (19 and 11 damage)

Iroven screamed in frustration as he continued to miss his quarry. He moved in front of Artesia to gain a better position to flank the creature. Then he swung his sword with all his might.

Assuming the position is not changed, Iroven is going to move to flank the creature as his first action. Second and third is going to be vicious swing. So, I am guessing this will give +3 to the attack? Wow! :D

Your luck seems to turn and between Artesia and a couple of devastating strikes from Tomas you bring the gargoyle to its end.

"Nice work!" the halfling calls out. "Now go away before you bring more death to my doorstep!"
OOC:
Remember Artesia, that as a cantrip it is automatically heightened, so it would do 2d4 damage. Not that it matters in this case.
