I am new to the play-by-post style and am eager to learn. I have played DND 5e about as much in person as I have online. However, my current job makes it difficult for me to join anyone in person, and the group I have online has such a narrow time window on the weekend, and sometimes we are unable to play for weeks at a time. I've been told this pbp format takes away the need for scheduling and gives me ample opportunity to roleplay better (which I desire to improve upon).
I have mostly GMed, but I like to think of myself as the kind of player who likes to engage with the story, discover lore, and find clever solutions to problems (or create problems that advance the plot).
Other games I have played (in long-ish campaigns) include: DND 5e, Pathfinder 1e, and DND 1e. I look forward to playing a new system that fits the pbp medium and engage with new people on a convenient schedule and hope to be very active in this community.
Thank you!
