Hi folks, I've been playing RPGs of various sorts for over 20 years now, usually in person and almost always as the GM. I recently learned about PbP and would like to learn a bit more about how it works and try my hand in a few games so I can some day try GMing them myself. I used to play board games in a delayed format, including chess and Diplomacy, so I think the daily post cadence will really work well for me. Thanks in advance for having me and for helping show me the ropes!
For systems I've mostly played D&D and D&D-likes, and occasionally Free League games like Symbaroum and The One Ring. I've read a lot of systems, though without a regular group at the moment I haven't tried many of them in play yet.
I'd particularly like to read a few games before trying to play in one, I looked at the public games index but most of the links there are dead - any suggestions on how I could read a game or two?
