As the group rounds the next bend, each of you are confronted with a strange sight. About fifteen feet ahead of you is a two way split, with the path to the left leading down a dark, sloping tunnel. The path dead ahead, however, connects to a broken, stone wall. It appears as though the tunnel (or whatever formed it) smashed this opening through the wall. Beyond the opening is a chamber of cobbled stone floors and cut stone walls, angled as though the interior is a room that was tilted just slightly to the left. The rocky terrain of the tunnel ends abruptly at the edges of stone flooring, though the wall that used to be there is evident by the broken edges of stony bricks ringing the entrance into this new room.
Suspiciously, the broken edges of wall are covered in the same blue, glowing fungi, extending from a slimy mold that coats the stone. There is enough room to easily pass through the entryway into the room without brushing against the mushrooms, but notably the growths are almost twice as large as those in the pit you have just passed. The sound of dripping water can be heard from within the room.
