Ameera telepathically guides Zubie to the next likely target and sends her volley of energy toward the beast with a loud shout "Agradoth!". In the chaos, she hears Erran's comment and manages a sideways glance. "Yna is keeping us on our toes, we seem a bountiful source of amusement for her."

Hounds of the deep, let me impart
A curse to of gentled heart

Baric leaned over the ledge looking down at the climbing beast, marking three in his mind for his spell,

Let hesitation be bane to you
And doubt turn aside your strikes from true!

The magic complete, Baric sheathed one dagger and drew his rapier waiting for the creatures as an intermittent drum beat emphasized the dissonance for the faltering curse.
OOC:
Three creatures make DC 13 saving throws. On a failed they subtract 1d4 from future attack and save checks until the spell ends

"I suppose someone has to entertain the divines,"

Erran says with his usually grin, letting another fiery projectile soar towards the next hound, hoping to cease its ascent.

Before the hounds are able to reach the top, the one in the front is felled by the second volley that the party delivers. The other two appear afflicted, darkened and sickened by Baric's chanting, and they seems somewhat clumsier for it. Nevertheless, the two remaining ascend to the top...

One of the hounds charges Baric, carving its claws through the air in a vicious attack! Just barely, certainly only due to the effects of his spell, the hound fails to strike him.

The other hound charges toward Devanis, but suddenly stops about 5 paces away. Instead, it opens its drooling maw toward him. Within its throat, the old ranger can see grey, bubbling liquid build up, before a jet of corrosive spray is sent toward him! (Devanis must make a DC 12 Dexterity Save or suffer damage listed below; half damage on success)
OOC:
It is back to the Players' Turn. Now that the hounds are not longer illuminated by the light in the hovels, you need appropriate vision, or you suffer disadvantage.

Additionally, now that you have a closer look at them...

Devanis grabs Seraph and tries to leap out of the way of the burning acid. He avoids a direct hit but still gets splashed with a good amount of acid, which burns his flesh. Gritting his teeth through the pain, he channels divine magic to heal his wounds.

OOC:
* Bonus action to mark quarry.
* Cast Cure Wounds.
OOC:
Whoa! Can I still change my actions for this turn? I would like to instead:
* Reaction: Absorb Elements
* Bonus action: Mark quarry (Hunter's Mark)
* Action: Melee attack.
Divine magic comes to Devanis' aid, protecting him somewhat from most of the acid. Gripping Seraph, he charges at the hound and retaliates with an overhand slash to the thing's shoulder.

I'm back! Sorry about the disappearance!
OOC:
I'm assuming that roll won't result in a successful hide bonus action, so I'll play along as though it fails
After hearing a grunt of pain from Devanis, Pyrrah runs closer until she has a clear view of him. Trying her best to avoid making a sound, she scoots herself on the other side a boulder and peers around it. In her haste to line up a shot with her shortbow and the dim lighting obstructing her sight, she knocks a small stone from the top of the rock and it falls crashing to the bottom of the Cliffside below. The noise bounces faintly off of the walls amongst the shouts and screams, breaking her hasty attempt to hide and sneak up on the beast. Cursing to herself as she does so, Pyrrah adjusts her aim at the hound attacking Devanis and lets to arrow go free.
OOC:
So, dim lighting results in disadvantage for blindy over here, right? Since the creature is within 5 feet of an ally, I don't need advantage to sneak attack though.
OOC:
EDIT: Wow. Disadvantage means nothing to me, apparently.

That's right, pup,

Baric whirls his rapier out of the dodge, pushing the cave hound to an opening with his rapier in one hand, and tapping out an agitating counter rhythm with the dagger pommel in his other hand. Jabbing into the opening, he laughs,

you're not too scary anymore.

OOC:
I did a quick Google and the consensus that I found is that you can fulfill somatic component requirements in the same turn you utilize a two-handed weapon.

Also, yes, the bonfire, for the duration it is there, will create appropriate lighting for your group!
As Devanis charges, the hound speeds in low, dipping underneath his swing. In doing so, it manages to avoid Pyrrah's arrow as well. Unfortunately for it, its charge leads it directly into Ameera's bonfire, cast directly in front of its path. The nearby area fills with the smell of burnt hair and seared skin.

Baric fares well enough against his foe, piercing it with shallow but effective stabs of his rapier even as it attempts to evade the Dwarf's strikes.

After some hesitation, Erran also charges in toward the hound attacking Devanis. He swings and manages to clip the beast across the ear.

The hound reacts to the flame by leaping into the air and to the side of Devanis (keeping within his range, but maneuvering out of the flame). It responds to his attack by clamping its acid-drooling jaws upon his forearm (8 piercing damage; 9 acid damage).

Maintaining concentration on the bonfire, Ameera reacts to the hound belching acid at her Dwarven companion. Zubie, on that one!. The Imp flys in the face of the hound engaged with Baric, giving Ameera a chance to attack. "Agradoth!" Her purple-white energy bolt snakes up and over to the strike the hound on its flank.

Pyrrah expositions herself and once again attempts to get the drop in the hound attacking Devanis, noting how unsteadily the old Ranger was standing. Hoping she was effectively hidden, she lines up a shot at the illuminated hound and let's her arrow fly

Leaping to one side, all but avoiding the stream of acid, feeling the pain of it as it seeped through his traveling clothes.

Curse these beasts, I liked that tunic! Baric rolled back to his feet, righted and poised to strike again. Come here pup, I'll use you to patch that tear and you'd best not have gotten my beard else you'll suffer more for it fiend.

The creature impacted from either side, Baric snaked his rapier in for the killing blow, making at a light slit below its jowls, preserving as much of the creature for leathers and resources as possible.

Surveying the area, he kept guard with his rapier hand, and paused his rhythm for a moment to check his beard. After a short tug, his hand froze at a small patch on the very bottom left of his thick locks: singed at the ends. His spell was ended, all thoughts on the single fact: Singed? He turned in fury at the creature, cursing, and he barely stopped himself from kicking it off the cliff.

He'd need the creature to somehow suffer more for this indeed. His beard.

With a couple of their members on their last legs, the party retaliates in full. Slashed, pierced, hacked; the hounds are brutalized until they cease to move, and instead lie crumpled upon the stony ground. The cries and screams have softened down below, in the chasm, and have turned instead to mourning wails, and the sounds of wretched sobbing.
