Hi, folks.
I'm a long-time RPG reader, but haven't played much due to limited time and lack of interested friend groups. I have a huge stack of TTRPG books and read them cover to cover. I'm fascinated by the whole universe of games and systems, and have recently gone down the rabbit hole of Mothership, Mork Borg and DCC.
I'm tentatively exploring the play-by-post idea, and would love to learn more, and maybe get a sense for how it works and what it's like. If it all works out, maybe I'd join a good beginner 5e game..?
Would love references to any resources people think might be helpful; sample games, or threads I could lurk on, just to get a sense for things.
